Ageless One...
I'm sure this has been addressed before, but since I have never seen any indication that the devs deigned to even acknowledge the disparity, I'll point it out again. The caster stave from the Ageless One quest at the end of the infineum chain is a joke compared to the melee rewards. My DK is looking at his weapon dps literally doubling with the upgrade. It's huge, and I'm drooling. My Psionicist on the other hand.... I'm unimpressed. Yes, the spell damage mod and the hit chance are nice. What bothers me is the fact that it has spell damage roughly equivalent to a level 30 uncommon crafted focus that is one-handed, and that it has no int whatsoever. At this point I am seriousy considering the idea of simply using it as a click-stick from my inventory and continuing to use my combination of focii that gives me max spell focus. A legendary weapon should be hands-down better than any other weapon of it's level, not a tough choice as to whether or not to use it over your uncommon or rare focus.

Did'nt they upgrade massively the Shock of the Ages effect? I heard it dealt 400 damage, if that's the case who cares about the rest.

And yer DSC and DRK friends will unfortunately be seeing a little disappointment come their way next patch, seeing as how those Legendarys (as well as the Arena's) were WAY too powerful

yeah the "shock of ages" was upgraded, but my Infineum Rod and Superior Cerebral Figurine give me far better stats for battle. The diff between the rod click and the staff click is only like 75-100 dmg/click. useful for solo kiting, but useless for group fights.
I only use the Staff for traveling. It looks hella cool and impresses Thestran noobs who have no clue who Kronus and are impressed just to see such a large cat in their town who looks like an orange power ranger.

It's going to take a lot of +INT or +WIS to beat a +100 Damage every 2 seconds.

Yanvil became, for now, because it will change next patch.
+1% spell crit (not displayed in the tooltip)
+1% spell accuracy
+1% spell dmg
+98 spell dmg focus
My one hands are :
Rod i dont remember the name, and the stats are "roughly" since i dont have those in front of me.
+14 int
+73 dmg focus
Empowering figurine which was +94 spell dmg focus is now :
+13 int
+49 spell dmg focus
(the dmg focus of the rod and staff might be reversed).

The Staff of the Ages is now my battle staff. Only advantage to my infin rod and SDF doll now is that they cost less to repair. Much less.
My Superior Cerebral Figurine went from +210 Mental SDF to like 8int/84 MSDF.
