Ancient Weapons of Leth Verael (Quest).

Nice work adding a quest as a reward to all the work required to reach that amout of faction. However;
Monk, Disciple and Paladin recieves no rewards from this - there's two bow rewards which feels sort of overflowing - indeed, considering the amout of work that needs to be put in to get this quest, as least possible reward for it, you should have at least one item you can use.
In addition, the 5th choice of reward "Ancient Orb of the Moon and the Stars" has no stats (and no classes either).

That 5th reward is in fact the reward for monks, disciples (and rogues as well). It is a right clickable object that summons throwing weapons. It will be appropriately flagged next patch. In terms of a paladin reward, I'll look into it, but it might simply be that this line doesn't have a reward for one particular class. I only worked on mechanics for this quest line though, not rewards, so I'll have to bring this up.

In addition, a few bugs snuck their way into this patch, and while they have all been fixed for the next patch, I wanted to let you guys know before you ran into them yourselves:

-The text tree to turn in armor after you complete the quest is bugged, say 'armor' to Thorian Glowban after you've completed the quest and he will let you turn armor in, however you won't be able to click on that option until after next patch.

-A handful of the especially evil races will be unable to do this quest until next patch. The faction was set incorrectly, and has been fixed.

That should be it, everything else has been fully tested now, and it all should be in working order. Enjoy the new weapons, and feel free to let me know if anything isn't working with regards to this stuff (or if you just have any feedback) and I'll look into it.

On the items

I'm pretty sure items with +stealth to rogues are useless. Perhaps they need +hide as well? I havent noticed any difference using +stealth items and not using them. Its pretty much a wasted stat.

Well, grats to my psionicist on server first Ancient Orb of the Moon and the Stars. Will there be anything in place like a reward exchange for people who finish broken quests? I myself took the orb, someone tipped me off to this thread. I had to register to let you guys know what a sad panda I am.

Working hard to finish these quests only to find out this reward was broken and not intended for my class makes me gunshy of continuing the dungeon crawl quest line route. My group has done alot of hard wrok in thel and VT and its a shame to end up with a reward I can't use.

before i waste more time, whats the arcane caster choice?

There will be a quest in the next patch that will let anyone who mistakenly picked up the orb of moon and stars turn it in for another one of the weapons.

That is absolutely awesome. I would love to have this item, especially since buying the higher damage stars seems to not effect damage at all.

I had already finished the quest and chose the ancient longbow. Now me being the Defensive warrior MT the shield is most likely a way better choice for me. I have a petition in right now but a switchout by a GM or a quest for me to trade my bow in would be appreciated.

Thrown item: You instantly get the red version (without upgrading). It's 1252-1252 damage. While admireable, it will still deal the same damage as crude shuriken's. But isn't that damage overdoing it a bit? ;/

Ancient Longbow is lvl 40 item and has a dmg of like 131 with some +1 modifiers like ranged crit chance or something. And still no reply to my petition.

I'll put in some additional weapon turn-in quests this weekend for anyone who wants to pick up the shield. That means they should hit live servers sometime next week.
