I hope that's some kind of bug. Even if the book was just a port it should be a heck of a lot more than one use!

Targonor's Call ports you to old Targonor it has about the same cast time as recall and currently has a 488 hour recast. I bugged this thinking it was suppost to be 48 hour recast and someone just had fat fingers.. 20 days is a bit long.

The port takes you to OT and you can summon either a pet or a mount, but its bugged so noone can use it.

The quest lore says you have to say certain words to get the pet\mount.

well I did use it and it just took me to OT there was nothing in the quest text or on the item about getting a pet/mount. So im just thinking this is a helpful travel item atm once its fixed that will be alot more useful once the teleporters are gone.

As you complete the quest he tells you to say "Thestaten's Shadow" (sp) to summon the pet\mount. I went there, tried it and nothing happened.

Ok got down and got book tonight. The book seems to be slightly bugged main effect is a call to Old Targonor where you are supposed to say a pass phraze that doesn't seem to be functioning or we are saying in the wrong area. "Thestra's Shadow" i'll continue to work on it and let you know any additional information. There is one piece of the quest i've been missing and now thing must be somewhere in the game. The council members had a teacher Verfeus that i never found in beta. He may be in some of the newly opened area's or in Old Targonor itself. If anyone see's him floating around let me know where so i can investegate further.

update stats of book have changed

Book of Morfare is now

either hand Focus Soulbound
+18 wisdom
+18 intelligence

equiped effect Targonor's blessing
Activated effect Targonor's call
item lvl 40

Still can't seem to use book at all unless you are lvl 40 even tho you can equip it at about lvl 33
so if you 40's could report on what targonor's blessing is i would appreciate it

Btw, Tre.. this is Hyalis.. Are you sure Olkurk said Thestra's Shadow? I could of sworn he said "Heresten's Shadow" to me, thats why I had asked ya to take a screenshot of the final text he says when you complete the quest.

Whatever blessing does I keep resisting the effect every time I equip the book >.< Haven't gotten up the courage to risk a 2 week reset yet ;p

So here we are....

10 pages turned in that gives us a book that gives us an effect we resist and a call to Old T. I am scared to use this recall effect atm. Has anyone figured out if saying the words "Heresten's Shadow" will get us a mount one day or even now? Or have we found a person for which to mutter this phrase? Is the quest complete at this point of release? Is the book all we ever get? The books took me about 2-3 days to get with minimal play time. I think they should place the pages on harder mobs or make there drop rate way lower, unless this is a quest to get us to a raid zone that might offer up a quest for flying mounts or epic gear that would benefit the whole guild?Kind of like collecting the shards for VT in EQ on Luclin.

The quest never was for a mount. i never should have mentioned it. The dev was just telling me something else cool to go hunt after because the mounts weren't ready. and the only reason it took you 2-3 days minimal play time is because they were handed to you with locations. if you did the quest the way it was received to you. there are 10 pages anywhere in the world on any mob and they are rare drops on said mobs and no direction at all to go in how long do you think it would have taken you to complete.

Thanks for answering my questions? Not, or should I say thanks for acting like you are the only one pre release to take this quest and try and figure it out? I was a part of the beta hype when we talked in world chat, just like others, trying to find hints, drop locations, and mob types. So yes it may be handed to people ,as you put it ,currently after months of research both in beta and release. If this is all we get its kinda lame. If it was a item used to access a raid zone, it might be with the effort. As it stands its a minimal ,at best, caster off hand item.
