How do you make your own UI?

Does anyone know of a good website for XML_101? I'm looking to learn how to write XML so I can make my own UI.

vgsohinterface.com has some pretty good and basic tutorials about writing XML for the interface in the UI wiki.

best way to learn is always by getting your hands dirty - and the tutorials there offer a good introduction to that approach, along with some good explanations of what the XML "does".
