Default Sigil - question about coding

For quite some time the patches have had no major coding changes.

We still have the same chunking issues as in beta & not much has changed to the fundamentals.

Is this because you are content that most things have or are being solved or are the main coding devs on holiday?

You guess that right, Sigil is rich now, so one monkey is typing codes and posting on the boards.

There was a coding update on the 22nd. I would guess, as they've been pushing patches ohn a regular basis i would guess the answer is soon™.

Would people stop assuming the know all about how games are made...

Why don't you ask Sigil how many lines of code this game has? It took them 5 years to code the whole thing, and its not even finished. Do you really think they'll fix a major engine issue like the zoning problems overnight? This isn't just a typo. "Oh I see what's wrong, I forgot a ';' on that rule. That shall fix all our problems".

One doesn't have to pretend to 'know all about how games are made...' to read patch release notes, you f-tard. If you don't have anything meangingful to contribute, then please...don't.

Never argue with idiots, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Some design flaws can never be fixed by coding.

Heh..actually it would probably freak people out the number of times major errors are becasue someone forgot a ';'. But that doesn't make finding where it is any easier.

I assume that there was no coding patch this week becasue they wanted the next one to go to the TestServer first so they help off and will release it next week with the Update patch. This makes sense to me. We've been asking them to get the testserver up to help reduce the errors that go live and this is using it as they should.

Yes, instead we rely on magic to sort the flaws out.
