Semi hard to explain, but here goes...

From the Isles that has the big Drake (Prince) and Golem chambers, take the stairs down a level (Right from where you enter the golem "isle" and left on the drake one).

Then cross the bridge that will be pretty much right infront of you once you get down and on those isles the Vurm books pop, you will probably have to clear some Ilsu to get em, but they'll show up.

We farmed 9 or so in a couple hours...rather annoying but the end result was worth it.

Vurm books are found near the end islands in the Lair of the Drake Riders, and occationaly nearby. Each dungeon has a set amout of books (4 maybe) that is up at the time. When a book is looted, another instantly repops. This means if no Vurm book is up, you need to run around the entire dungeon and clear all books to get the coveted spawns. By far easiest method is having a dog shaman run around scouting for books (if level 38+) and summon someone with FD to check out the book - and loot if the wrong one to force a spawn, while the mainstream group keeps one of the common book locations cleared.
Quel book is found using pretty much the same principle in mainly the throne room of VT, with some rare spawns outside of it.

Where is the Tr in VT.. if you go down the stairs there is a 3 way ...left is towards library middle heads towards area where you get ceremonial book updates for second tomes quest and the right heads towards the area with mosquitos. Anyone actually been to the TR know the way? Also, can you confirm the elitha rune and quel books can be found there.

Go straight. Really straight. Until you reach a room which has a huge pedistal which is circled by a lot of lost souls. In that room, take right and follow the passage (a few siderooms) and you'll reach throneroom.
Quel books spawn here (but you might need to kill a few Jgor to have them spawn) and Eltha does indeed drop of nameds.

Was wondering about this quest line for some time and couldn't get any useful info so far. Thanks for all who contributed something.

Looking at the pieces, they look nice, but considering the effort to get them, it seems like a waste of time

As i am playing on Infineum server, this area is void of any groups and it will take ages to get the nameds solo.

If you have enough money for the T4 playermades and is having grping issues, I would suggest you to skip it. Else, since they are totally free of charge and has great stats, I strongly recommend any Lv30+ statitc grps to give it a try especially after the exp boost. Just FYI, while doing the Heroeic weapon questlines, you will eventually entounter nameds that drop Lv38 Heroeic weapons by chance, such as 45DPS longsword, 45 DPS healer mace etc.

I think you will be able to have a complete suit of the armor but you may not be able to get the Heroeic Weapon quest. As you may need more than 11900 FULL to be able to start the quest, which is also the cap for DEs.

Final armour reward is 11000 full (so 19100 dynamic for those with an alternative lifestyle). Weapon Quest is (read: should) be availible at 11900 (ie 20000). I know for sure it's availbile when just over 12000 full (we never tested it more exactly than that).

A Quick question about the armor rewards

Why do light armor classes get + arcane and mental resists on their armor pices instead of HP and spell damage or healing focus?

Psionist set

Just something i cant understand with all these work to get this armor. Maybe Arcane and Mental resists is so good its worth dropping so much spell damage, helaing focus and spell damage.

Curse gaming parses damage focus as damage resist, so those numbers actually represent specific damage focus (of the type that it claims to have as a resist.)

Just wait until you get your Ancient weapon quest reward. The upgraded (legendary) versions are not even worth the effort. Farming all 6 T3 pieces to turn them into some 1% stat raise would just make you laugh or sad. (lol)

I really hope the devs could consider giving more stats to the legendary versions. :S

Seriously, in comparison to the stat increases for the Bows, throwing dagger, and shield, the healing and spell baubles are a pointless joke.

Has anyone seen light arms drop? Have run through the bloodhowler quest about 5 times now, been to various parts of the swamp and not seen it. I am prolly just unlucky but was curious if there's a certain spot i should be hanging out at.

Just an FYI, my guild group has gotten both T3 candles from bloodhowler regular spawns in the last two days. (Kel and Sar incase you don't think I know what I am talking about).

I found this very odd as I thought based on other posts, nothing T3 can drop from an overland mob (NM or Otherwise), especially in Wardship.

Armor drops have been craptacular for us though.

Edit to add: I see a lot of the visably evil races complaining about this quest line, but what about the Vulmane? I started at -8k faction, if that not even more then the "evil" races?
I'm not complaining that this doesn't make sense, as it does. The Bloodhowlers are Vulmane.
Can anyone confirm that a Vulmane is capable if getting to the +20k full faction? The bows are just to sexy for me to ignore.

Is there anything wrong with Ancient Rusted Vest drops rate ? Its been 3 weeks im doing VT/Thel even Vi'rak's Lair with my group without seeing any drop of it while other people saying seeing often 2 drops a day sometimes. I've seen tons of chest med/light but never Heavy one.

Is it rarer or what ?

Just had 2 dropped 2hours ago in Drake Lair. Also had Heavy BP drop last night. Our luck seems to drop plenty of light but minimal on the heavy. All random I guess.

I'm about to give up trying to get any armor rewards from this questline because groups are impossible to find. I've been trying to find a group for the past two weekends and got only one that managed not to dissolve after 20 minutes.

this is really boring. I hope they merge the servers so people are actually in the dungeons.
