Actually no, one of my brothers is an officer in charge of construction contracts and basically sits at a desk from 9 to 5 doing jack, he could easily play during work and at night if he wanted. My other brother was a helicopter pilot that flew missions daily, but they're only allowed to fly a certain amount per day then they're forced to be grounded, and could have easily played during that time. My point is that very few of our soldiers in Iraq are sitting in trenches 24/7 shooting at the enemy. In fact most, return to a base nightly (or daily) and sit around doing nothing for hours on end waiting until their next mission. In fact the most request things from both my brothers and their fellow soldiers is mp3s and movies and anything else that can help them pass the hours of tedium and downtime.
Of course this has nothing to do with the OP, which I actually thought was funny in that Stephen Colbert "why do you hate America" sorta way and think it's screwed up if in fact American in other countries, whether military or not, can't play on U.S. servers... maybe Vanguard is run by commies and hate America? Is Vanguard helping the terrorists win?!
