Default Hey Brad....thx for stopping by /wave.

This is a rant...so close it now if your gonna cry.

Thanks for visiting the AFFILIATE SITES never Brad. I'm glad you closed the Official Forums and made us all choose forums to go to with the promise of seeing you guys around.

Now...HUGE props to the Dev team. Cylus, Elrar and Tagad big thx! You guys are always there for us.

But, what really burns my ass, is seeing Brad answering question, after question on FOH time and time again, who aren't even listed as one the the Affiliate sites. Nino is no better, not that i want to hear much of what he has to say anyways from what I've read there.

I love it that members of Silky have to go to non-affiliate sites to get the lastest Vanguard News...THATS FRIGGING AWESOME BRAD.

/rant off

(how was that? was that too harsh? it was wasn't it.....oh dear.....)

It's no secret that a lot of people in the industry goto the FoH site. I understand you being irritated but I don't think its that big of a deal.

I guess thats the only group of players worth responding to....

I really hate when developers play favorites.

It kinda is. I don't really like a site where they drop the f word every other sentence like a bunch of jerks to make a point. I guess Brad owes them explanations more than the VG Affiliates? Silky may as well shut it down then and we can all head over there.

I agree with you about all the swearing and the jerks. I guess I should have said that I really don't think its a big deal rather than its not a big deal to anyone else.

Um, FOH is part of the dev tracker, so if you are visiting SK, which you obviously are, you are seeing all of the dev posts on this site via the tracker. So actually, I'm confused where your argument lies, because clearly you saw Brad's posts by viewing this very site, which is an affiliate site. Now if there was no way of viewing Brad's post, aka, he typed up the message on some random no name untracked website, I might see your beef with it. However, he wrote on a site that is clearly tracked, and information is seen through the affiliate sites.

Nice try on the rant though, it fails miserably.

Seriously, as the OP posted. FOH is not an affiliate site, yet, they recive most, if not the great majority of developer postings.

FOH is a guild, and there only redeeming factor is that there are a few thousand of them.

Sadly, they are motley and hardcore bunch, that loves some raiding (im sure there are exceptions).... So.. So much for the "Core" audience he was making this game for... Seems he only values the comments, concerns, and opinions of a large, hardcore guild.

He wrote a freaking novel over there.

There is a huge conflict of interest having a good portion of your developers a members of a guild like that.

I'm not sure how it is favoritism. The posts are tracked by the tracker and you, as a person, are free to read them and even post an answer.
Now, why did he go on a posting spree on the FoH forum and not on Silky Venom? There must be a reason, let's think about it, k?
