I am quite confused why a top end competing game would not have official forums myself. That just seems unprofessional. 1 official forum may bring some life into the community, as i am not registering to multiple sites, I am likely missing many quality posts. I just think it spreads the players out too thin.

We all know Brad was the EQ1 man. FoH was the best known guild in all of Everquest. Like i said, its just good buisness.

If i was a Business man...and i knew that my main VG site listed all the links to AFFILIATE sites to read about VG. I would think posting on those sites would also be good business sense, as prospective players from WoW and the like filter in here on a daily basis to read the forums.
Now..if i saw the train-wreck that these forums have become in the last few days, i also would be hot to trot to play a little damage control and set people striaght, instead of letting them make up VG's future for Brad. But i guess ranting are only good for the Elite FOH members huh?

LOL, yet, if you prick him, does he not bleed?
You can say he uses his experience and public name for business, but that still makes him human outside of the office.

That would get blown up in 3 seconds if that was done, lol.
I think the FOH post was good, and sheds a lot of light on VG's future tbh. But i also think it's time for another Hey, Where's Brad week.

Which only proves his mortality, since rangers died every six seconds in that game.

It may be just good business but in my mind it sends a mixed message. On one hand he's saying that this game is for casual players (a HUGE playerbase, I might add) and on the other he's posting on a Guild site that many former players in EQ absolutely detested for their elitism and their foul mouths and attitudes. And their "playerbase" if you will was a complete opposite to the playerbase he's trying to attract.
I gravitated to this site because it seemed a lot less "elitist" than many of the sites I've been to. I went here to get an informed opinion of Vanguard and make up my mind about whether to purchase or try the game.
Now I find out that Brad is still catering to the hardcore crowd at FOH.
Seems like a pretty mixed message to me.
