Official Forums whining

Why do people keep yapping about official forums? Does FFXI or War Online have them either?

does'nt make a difference if they are "official" or not as long as they are looked at and read, and feedback is given... which is all occuring.

So it's just a whine in general which is what Forums in general are known for

FFXI is hardly a good example, since it is just about the ONLY other mmo game that does not.

Who cares? There are a ton of other affiliate sites that have forums for the game. O-boards seem to be the worst game forums there are anyway.

Some "official" forums require that you be a paid subcriber to post. That would cut down on some of the noise. No offense intended

I'm pretty sure you don't need to be a paying customer to post there. You only need to sign up for a station account which can be done for free. I could be wrong.

Your point is valid either way. You'll notice I said it would cut down on only some of the noise. There will always be thoose that wish only to flame and bitch. /sigh

Wrong....Warhammer Online don't got them either and I think we will start seeing a trend in the future of it.

Don't know. I don't play either of those games. If I did I'd suggest they have official forums too.

Ok what is VG apart of? SOE so does EQ/EQ2/SWG blah blah blah have a forum? See the problem is they TALKED about NOT having forums because of all the bugs, they new the game would be out to early and tons of people would be pissed. And having eveyone come to a FAN site is better for them they dont have to pay. See they new what they were doing.
