Cragwind - Death From above quest line help

Ok, sucks cause I got server discoveries for the quest line so no one to ask in chat. Up to the weapon quest and trying to figure out where to get the shard slivers from, anyone with some luck yet?

Me and my guildies were asking the same question. Killed about 10 Cyclops and a bunch of those rocks by the first altar. Help would be appreciated!

yeah, we have killed a good deal of warriors and priests, assuming cyclops drop em since the npc said only his race posses them.. not a single drop. Guessing it won't be easy to get them all, but at least knowing we aren't wasting our time would be great!!

middle of the quest cave, if you are talkign about "Death from Above"
the NPC was just added today..

Ok, now about these damn slivers, did they forget to add them to loot tables???

Cause here is the thing, even if they are a semi rare drop..
10 Sliver = 1 shard
1 Shard = 1 Ritual
ok forget this part about the energized shards, what do these take?
then 5 energized Shards = 1 Shrine of the Wind Ritual

all this works out to something like 200 slivers someone said in my group, but we were really paying attention to the specifics of how many we actually needed and how you do this and how you do that, we jsut trying to figure out WHERE DO THEY DROP

what that adds up to is an assload of shards, and it is a bit nutz if the 3 dots we been killing are supposed to drop em, cause they haven't dropped one yet!!!

Ok, take your groups and go wayway up the ramp at the south of the zone, way up there are 4 dots and a big fort in the mountain and see if maybe they drop slivers? Had to log off to do stuff now, same goes for my guild group so no further research from me for a while

Well, the outcast cyclop said something in line with "Cyclop get sliver" (and assuming he talks like Yoda anything could drop them). He didn't explicitly say that cyclops drop them.

yeah I was just coming back to post before I go to, he says "only his race can make them" not only they have them. So i guess it is possible ya can get them off of other mobs. pls update if anyone gets a drop. gl all

I was also a server first to go through this quest line. I got to the sliver portion and spent the last 12 hours in search for them. So far I spent 4 hours on the cyclops and golems = 0 dropped. I also spent 4 hours just killing every single type of mob that was in the zone = 0 dropped. I talk to a guild mate who said 3 weeks ago when he was in Cragwind Ridge, up near the shrines were these gnome sized crystals that u could tell where clickable if you had the right quest....now this makes sense on being the slivers. well the last 4 hours of my day I ran up and down each shrine area and nothing, i even went to the Boss Wyvern at the top of the mountain palace thing and kicked him once for being a bastard. I petition about 5 hours into my questing to see if they were missing, the GM, of course, said he had no idea. So im going with they aren't dropped yet and left out.

wow crazyness, is totally possible they "forgot" to add em in I guess.. Haven't seen any clickable things in cragwind before, thought I did when ya mentioned it but then remembered I was thinking of ice shards in frostshard lake.. which I have no idea what they are for

There spost to drop off the cyclopse that are up the ramp on the way to the wind temple place. As of now none drop.

They forgot to put them in the loot table thats all.
Fixed next patch youll see. stop waiting your time trying to find things. Its not that hard. If it isnt there its buged and move on.

just go to the back of the cave then up the ramp. kill the rock things back there and the codex drops off them. there only 2 dot mobs.

Yeah well, it wasn't really clear where the slivers dropped which made it quite a bit harder just to "let it go and move on". :P

Actually, since the quest is listed as "Epic" is is "spost" tu bi daht hahd. Once these do drop ya got any idea how many slivers combined amongst the group will be needed for each member to finish the quest. On a more coherent note, they damn well better patch the drops in soon or I'm gonna kick Sigil in the head

For any of ya on the Codex of the Wind part, the drop seems to be pretty random, some people got it on first kill, others got it after 50, so just keep killing it will drop. We were actually running around looking for a ground spawn and i was running through mobs training them, they started to annoy me so I stopped to clear my train and bingo it dropped, got mine off a Guardian.

I have got a Drop ( world 1st ) but didnt get any other than 1 from killing +150 Cyclops

Bugged ? yes i beleave becouse even the 4dot Cyclops didnt change the drop rate

LOL he got one to drop 1 out of 150 kill and you need 200 got the end quest...So mabe 3 weeks of farming I "might" have enough.

Ive seen the end reward not even epic..two words

ok deathknight, let me get this straight with no confusion....You got a MISTRAL SLIVER from the cyclops???? because I had a guy last night tell me that his group had like 4 of them and showed me and they were just the crystal looking things the golems drop. Please confirm MISTRAL SLIVER...lol.

yes i have got Mistral Silver From the Cyclops 3 dot lev 33-34

Graphics looks like a Broken Pottery shards Blue in color and it says Quist item ( no sell ) but it can be traded

altho as i said the drop was Ultra rare and i think it is bugged

and i got a World 1st massege when i looted it if you have an advanced station account you might see it in my Profile in Discovered items

ahh gratz on your discovery Winder. Got bored of it and wrote it off as bugged yesterday, then me and Perigrine logged. We were thinking of going back just to grind up the wind shrine ramp, up to the 4 dots just for the hell of it, kill some names, etc, but ended up not playing much today. Yeah I think they brain farted on that drop rate, either that or they are smoking crack lol.
