When i was exploring and had no idea about these quests, I went to the Gorgalok guy first and accepted his quest...soon realizing I want the Caster gear from the Ichtakhta. I received a ring from the Gorgalok to use when i kill the mantus but when i went and got the quest from the emmissary of the ichtakhta I received no ring, so no I had not been wearing a ring at all to get the drops. but i didn't receive one.

Hmm, it's working when I just tested it - can you provide the following information so I can try and reproduce the problem:

• Race
• Class
• Level
• Dynamic faction level toward Ichtakhta

Will see what I can do! If I can find the problem then it won't be an issue to put in a fix for it =)

I was above KoS, not sure on exact number

I was thinking it could be since I accepting the other faction's quest first, that there could be some coding where it would not give me the ring by choosing that quest when i had the other, just a suggestion. I haven't tried dropping the quest and taking it again since i didn't know a ring was needed lol. I will go try that now.

The Flordiel Quests are missing.

I did all quests in the Elani Output including the emissary pre-quests.

I found the Gorgalok emissary and can get faction quests. I also found the Gorgalok armor quests NPC no problem.

I found the Ichtakhla emissary and can get faction quests. I also found the Ichtakhla armor quests NPC no problem.

I found the Flordiel emissay and can NOT get faction quests. I also can NOT find the Flordiel armor quests. I spent hours searching the area and there are no quests in the zone at all. Some thing is wrong here.

Faction makes no difference getting any quest. I was able to get the Gorgalok quests with -5000 dynamic Gorgalok faction and was able to get Ichtakhla quests with +2500 dynamic Ichtakhla faction. I have +5000 dynamic Flordiel faction and no quests to be found.

also what are the 3 differences in armor. I never read the quest pop up until the last one which told me the type of armor the Ichtahkta have. I went and saw their stuff which consists mostly of SDF and Int stuff which I like. But i was wondering, is gorgalok for melee, and Flordiel for something else?

My group was factioning on trees in Flordiel after getting the quest from the Ichtakhta emissary (to collect Flordiel sigs, or whatever they are).

We had also taken the Gorgalok emissary quest, and that quest gave us a ring to equip so we could harvest whatever we'd need from the Ichtakhta. We're not actually doing that quest because we want ICH armor.

However, the Ichtakhta emissary did NOT give us a ring. We were in Flordiel, killing treants (as the quest says, "kill them in their city") and not one sig dropped. Is this working as intended? Are we supposed to be getting them somewhere else and the quest dialogue is just wrong?

We were getting lesser flordiel symbol drops but no quest updates.

Same here, received the Gargolag armor quests pre-patch, deleted all of them after patch, received kill quest and ring at Gorgalog, went to the Ich. npc and got the collect flordiel symbol quest with no ring obtained.

Tried discarding the gorgalog ring and all quests, reobtained the same Ich. quest but got no ring from the npc. Also tried killing "~ of the Chosen," "Savage~," Fox riders, nameds etc but had absolutely no "flordiel symbol" drop.

FYI my char is a Lv49 HighElf Cleric and has -109 faction with the Ich. due to some mass rampage at the Ich. pre patch.

lol my group and i only JUST fixed our ich faction.. we were killing them before we realized what we were supposed to be doing :P

My guild has the same problem with the Ich ambassador. I accepted Ich quest first, no ring. Accepted Gorg quest and got item.

Kojani Disciple, 45 (at time of acceptance). I had practically no faction whatsoever at time of acceptance (had killed maybe 2 mobs in other zones, no Ich). Abandoning quest and taking it again made no difference.

I must jump in to this. While I was wearing the ring and killing the Flordiel treants I did get the lesser Symbols, but I did get regular symbols. So it is confirmed that you can get both from the trees..if I recall correctly I got the bigger symbols from the named 3 dots in Flordiel.

So far we've gotten Flordiel armor molds from the frogs, as well as frog skins and wind essences (very very infrequent drop--we've gotten one out of about 400 kills).

Edited to add: We've now gotten one residual chaos energy as well.

can anyone link the plate rewards? i have yet to see any posted (cured only has cloth and 2 versions of medium). i'm trying to decide on the faction route to go, but it's hard when you don't know what the end result is or if it's even worth the grind.

How is this supposed to work? My groups tank wants to go def, the dps wants to go offensive, and as a healer i think balanaced is good, are these quests soloable or is this gonna screw people up and have them get pissed they cant find a group, cuz the tank wants one type the def wants another and the healers want another? I really would like some more info on this if possiable cuz its all screwed up..

Well, seeing as how the yellow armor is pretty close to best in game as it is now (except for maybe a few heroic crafted pieces that crafters want 80g for), I'm willing to bet the upgrades will be worth it. I don't think any of the first set of quests can be completed yet, so there is no way to know what the next set will look like.
