Hello!

I'm so thankful to Oloh and the other members of the Silky Venom staff for giving me the opportunity to try out the idea of a hardware page.

Who am I? I'm just a gamer who spends way to much time learning everything I can about computer hardware. I played with computers professionally for several years, and now I build the printed circuit boards that make up all the guts of computers and other devices.

What I would really like to end up with is a section where as much hardware information as possible is brought together and presented in a readable, understandable, and interesting form… with a focus on gaming computers and Vanguard.

I'll need all the help I can get to make this work. Any and all comments, suggestions, gripes, corrections, questions, disparaging remarks, and anything else are most welcome!

It may be a little while before the webpage goes live, but I'm already working on some of the articles and content. If anyone has a suggestion for an article, or a question they would like to see answered either here or on the new page when it goes live, ask / suggest away.

As a technically challenged person, I am very much looking forward to your page, Fozz. I have enjoyed the discussions we have had and think that, finally, help may be at hand for my tech-impaired brain. I know the fundamentals, of course--I wouldn't have lasted this long on the internet-- but you are going to be not only catering to people who know what the heck they are talking about but hardware facts for dummies as well. AND it will be stuff that I can read further than a paragraph without glazing

Just an update...
The Silky Venom staff have been working their tails off to get the various fansite sections up and live, including the dev tracker and others which will be showing up SOON(TM).

The request for comments and questions remains open... and soon enough we'll have a dedicated hardware page to get the latest news and info from around the industry.
