Default bug deaths, issues, overall problems for a disabled player

i should note, some of the in-game gms have been rather helpful and always polite... but these problems are serious issues to me atleast.

first thing i should explain. i am a disabled player, this affects one of my arms and as such limits the style i play(usually one handed). normally this isn't an issue, i play how and when i can, ignoring things in game that are clearly beyond my limits. this is not a request to change game mechanics, but more of a pointing out how some of the changes and issues in the game affect some players like myself.

1. repeated bug deaths-(chunk, falling through the world, randomly apearing high up and falling etc...) i do find them harder to recover from when i have to summon my coprse, the possible 2 day wait for aide in a corpse retrieval from a GM or crimson type. sometimes i have gotten quick help and been very greatful! other times it has taken a full day before i got a single response to a petition from a bug death and others up to two or none at all.

> these are known issues at this point and have happened to multiple people, why is there no exp recovery system for these situations? being told, even politely, to eat the exp loss is very discouraging for players. for myself, adv is not an easy thing and it takes me much longer to regain the exp loss.

2. class issues- i'm not talking about "nerfs" or spells, i am reffering to known broken/bugged ones. personally i'll just list the shammie ones since i play one.

invisable armour- requires the full removal of all spheres of gear and replacement to make anything you wear besides weapon/shield visable as i understand it, it's tied to getting our forms.
chunking issues- loss of pet or form as well as the loss of form abilities(sometimes), requires you to cast your pet again to use form.. even if your pet is gone.
pet issues- (affects all pet classes as i understand it)- pet aggro everyone including owner aka going cujo, chunking, recallng, evac.. tho we can now log off and return to find out pet once more, shadowpets, pets randomly wandering off, pets "forgetting" commands.
leaving group- auto loss of form and buffs

3. crafting... while i understand the need to make changes (making the taskmasters wander randomly) due to the bottin issue.. i have reported a few myself.

> as a handicapped person who has to play one handed most of the time, this is making it almost impossible for me personally to now level my crafting.

the taskmasters wander randomly in and out of mob areas
it is harder to stop them, even with a hail
their pause is far shorter, so even if you stop them, trying to scroll through their list and click everything quickly before they wander off on you... you get my point i hope.

new targonor- no one can craft there due to the constant crashes... even traveling through there is a risk due to the constant regular crashes there.

taskmasters (crafting)- they due to the changes to prevent botting are now harder to parley with... for reasons stated above.

CTD/crashing issues- are still happening a great deal, to me atleast.

traveling seems to trigger them a lot, which is something i do try to avoid.(/flush only helps the first few times it seems)

the last patch affected the games' interaction with my SB sound card.., which is a known issue(since the patch, my drivers are updated btw).. personally i hate playing without sound... but i am dealing with it as my husband and i debate the value of replacing a perfectly working sound card with a new one just to play a game.

visual bugs- the screen turns monochromatic either black or pale greens, turning a person blind while traveling.. only solution is of course rebooting the game.

i defrag after every patch, as well as file scan, i run on balanced (i can play higher just choose preformance over eye candy)with shadows and grass etc turned off.

these are just a few of the issues i have with the game, which i happen to like a great deal despite the bugs etc... and will continue to play.

as for my system, which was built in dec, since someone is likely to ask:

amd 3800+
250g ata hd 77% free
2g ram
ati x1950 pro 256mb
SB live! 5.1

Glad those bugs aren't causing issues for non-handicapped people.

On a serious note, only one thing in that post seemed relevant to you bringing up your lack of mobility with one arm; the NPCs moving away. I would /bug them in game and move on. They aren't likely to show sympathy for you here and bump them from 'High' on the priority list to 'Handicapped people are suffering High' over this post.

the change in the taskmasters was done deliberately, so i doubt /bug would help. oh and the crafting devs, do not get bug reports.

Those same bugs affect us non-handicapped people as well.

The taskmasters are being adjusted on test, so that shoulld help you out some if it gets fixed correctly.
