After 3 nights grinding at Graystone to get 50insigna, we got the Greater Writ of the Regency. We teleported on the top of the graystone tower. We killed the boss (lvl 42 6dot, easy). We was hoping for a cool drop but the named dropped two Headwrap of royal claim, with soooo wussy stats!

Come on devs, we wasted something like 18hours farming bloody insigna and we got two rare caps? You can do it better...

To everyone who is thinking about collecting 50 insigna for the final named: do not do it!

Search royal claim, thats all his stuff on curse. It's missing a few things, it does not list the heroic loght pants which we got.

While I agree that he should atleast drop a Heroic everytime. That could still take a group over a couple eeks to fill out in heroic pants.

not to mention the first time we lost our 50 sigs cause he knocked me off the tower.

Well look at it this way. Sure, you didnt get the drops you wanted. Thats how the game works. The loot tables are randomized and therefore you will NOT always get the "l33t" drops every single time. Thats how the game, MMOs, work. Don't expect to be satisfied every time, and just complaining about it on the boards wont make the devs budge. Honestly, if I was a dev, I would make the sweet gear hard to get so that when people get it, they feel like they accomplished something...instead of looking like everyone else. Sorry, but that is what I saw in WoW, and that is why my subscription is only Vanguard now

Thats not the final boss encounter. Have to do all the writs to get your nowce item. 128 insignias all up i think. something liek that

I did everything at graystone, 145 insignas quest, every single named and this one i am speaking about.

I am not crying for my miss 3l33t drop...i am saying that there is no balance at all between the quest and this named (and the effort you need to slain him).

If you do both with a static full group, finishing the quest will give six lvl46 heroic weapons in 2 nights. For the named, you need three nights of insigna farming (cause you have no more questable ones) and you get 2 EQUAL rare caps lvl 42? WTF.

If i was a dev reading this thread, i'd start to investigate.

That, my friend, is complaining. Like I said you shouldn't EXPECT to get HEROICS everytime you spawn the 50 insignia mob! You are taking a risk, a CHANCE to get heroics by spawning the boss. Honestly I don't expect, actually I am almost positive, that the devs are not going to fix this loot table. The named can drop heroic legs for every archtype, yeah, but the key word is CAN and not WILL. There is absolutely no imbalance in the loot drops, just don't do the 50 insignia boss if you can't take a chance of being disappointed.

Oh and heroic weapons are WAY easier to find than heroic armor pieces, at that, leggings (like what this guy drops sometimes), thats the truth! The Graystone series is very easy for what it asks of you. There is no comparison there, you are comparing a quest where everybody is happy to a mob that *maybe* people will be happy with.

Again, I do not agree with this point. If you are guaranteed the same loot every time you kill a heroic-item-dropping boss, then what is the point! A game where everybody gets the same items and looks the same is a game that loses its value.

Actually Devs, make the heroic drops even HARDER, that way you'd eliminate the people who are out to get spoonfed from the people who are willing to take chances. Thanks

I didnt expect the named would drop an orange item for sure...but I'd like to see a better loot table then the other named ones. Currently, we got an heroic staff from a 5dot named inside the dungeon, and two equal rare items from the 50insigna boss...was i unlucky? Yes and I can live with that...but the yellow item IMHO should be superior then any rare item you can easly get everywhere...and the boss shouldn't drop 2x of the same item (are you joking me?).

This is my opinion and i think we can speak forever about this topic.
