This thread will go away in a few minutes probably but ive just a quick question, or comment...not sure


Anyways, i created a character on each pvp server to see how many ppl were on each of them and when i went to Frengrot, and searched lvl by lvl to get exact numbers, i got less than 100. Around 85-90 ppl playing at 8:30 PM !!!!!!

Hopefully something was just wrong with the search window.

Edited: could be because of time zones, didnt think of that, but still less than 100...

Frengrot is euro pvp server isn't it? in that case there is nothing wrong with less than 100 people playing on a monday at 5:30 am.

There's always something wrong if that's how many people are playing regardless of what time it is. The lowest pop DAoc server even now has more than that, at this time. Check the herald.

Doesn't surprise me, it's a ghost town and the whole time everyone else is screaming against server merges this server is dead.

It's ruined the game and today because of the low population i'm cancelling my account. If speaking on a forum doesn't get noticed then maybe this will, but I doubt it. I might come back say 6 months - looking forward to ETQW which is out in a month and a half so as much as i'd love to give all my gear away it may get used again sorry folks haha!

You can't get a group, you barely see anyone, lower level items don't sell on the broker, crafters willing to do anything are now non-existent and if they'd given us a character transfer we'd still be here but in cancelling my account i'm sure the rest of my guild of 6 will follow. 6 accounts Sigil because the server has no atmosphere, no players and no soul.

Oh...one last thing, naming no names but last night being chain killed by a level 44 shadow sorcerer who proceeded to /say that he'd read a post from me on this very forum about my desire for a server merge was the reason he'd killed me ingame....sad.

Bye and thanks to anyone who'd played with me at any point and especially those that made me rich buying my rare textiles...not sure where you're gonna get them from now though - I was the only one doing it!!!

I also play on Frengrot, and we have about 400-500 players in the week around 8pm...

And even in the weekends we cant get more than 500-600 players, u can forget that.... i just hope that they will merge us with the us team pvp server, it would help a little bit, and many many players who cancelled because of the low pop, would come back!

Server Merge is needed BIGTIME.
(althou votan would disagree,if he had bulls enough to not hide behind a diferent name in this forum.)
Even thou he came over to rant in txt about us going on about frengrot server is dead in this forum,and then persisted to corpse camp us with a shamen,us being lvl 38 and him being lvl 44 with a 41.
He actually thought it would teach us a lesson,lmao.
(all for pvp ofc,hense pvp server we on,but i do question peoples motives for camping someone 6 lvls below them,to prove some point about what he didnt like on a forum,lmfao)

Anyway,game is dead for us, lack of groups,no crafters left,or ones that are dont bother.
Gold coming out my ears with nothing to spend it on (500 quarring) not that even granite sells on our server.

Ah,whole guild is actually a clan,we all going to qwet soon as this game holds nothing for us.
Dev team is amazing btw,just a shame they let this server be so dead.
Others might disagree,and thats fine,each to their own and that,but for us, we just bored of it now.

played on frengrot, it was totally empty (canceld about a month ago), that was one of the reasons why i cancelled. it was so bad, like a single player game (and in single player, oblivion rulz everything, now working on an oblivion mod pack (hehehe, its over 2 gigs atm ).

a friend and i rolled a toon on gelenea (??) and we are still amazed how many people there are in every chunk we visit

hope they do something for the left players on frengrot because i miss my cleric toon

People leaving every day from Frengrot.... they have to do something soon, even ppl like me, who really like VG, will quit soon.

I mean, for me VG is the best mmorpg at the moment, but for me it is the same like a single player rpg, because i play on Frengrot -.-

I would even pay 50-100$ to transfer me to another server, for example Gelenia

pay for transfer ? no way the players didn t mess it up on frengrot

i love VG too so i go on playing till warhammer is out

i hope if i reach my old lvl on gelenia there will be more to do for people at lvl 45+

Well if i could transfer without payment i would also do it

But what i meant is, i would even pay for it, if i have to, because i really like VG, and i would like to go on playing this game for many many months, but i wont do that, if the pop on my server doesnt change -.-

I have canceled also. No more heavy armors at broker. I left couse of empty server, not many random people to play. Anyway that was really nice to meet you guys, u made me a really rich man also , i think i will be back in far future when they will merge servers or they will ban all 3$ plats sellers. How that was possible the game like Vanguard has so much uber (lol) bugs or exploits like duping, free exp and such.

problem is look at the server we can be merged with. only one US team pvp server it don t want to have the US downtims

i like VG too and hope there will be more players on frengrot when the german language patch is out ( if ever ) if you read german forums there are a lot of players waiting to start if a german patch / version is out

so lets hope for good times on frengrot

P.S: i m a german speaking player too so plz look over my spelling / grammar etc loved VG since last beta

I don't know why but I found that very funny! I think it was the whiny setup but I really like the idea of someone hunting you down because of what you posted here. That is classic rl bounty hunter converging with the virtual world. I love it!

It appear there are more Euros playing on Tharridon than Frengrot, at least from the people I've talked to ingame =P

I don't know, they should probably do a poll for euros and find out how many like to have a FFA server instead of team vs team.

Who cares about that small downtime, when u finally have a "well populated server" -.-
