None of the affinities remove Healers Focus or Castigator's stances, so you can still switch around as you desire.

What about faction? Im a High Elf standing in front of Tar’iia Tem’erae in Hathor Zhi for the war affinity atm and he wont give me anything

Is there nothing more from the Peace Affinitiy? How long does the 'invis' ability last? What's the recast?

Of course its just an additional stance !

Otherwise War (-75% Heal) or Death (-90% Heal) wouldnt be healers anymore, would they ??

Anyone know where this Jin Ka forrest is and the clay of ages you need for the preservation affinity quest. I have been running around Kojan all night looking for this forrest as I do not know the place well and aparently no one I have passed does either.

For the Preservation Affinity, you have:

- Nimbus of Warding
Surrounds your defensive target with a shield that reflects an incoming spell for 5 min or 2 charges

Can somebody tell me if that actually reflects the Spell back onto the caster, or if you just don't get hit? Because the 1st would be pretty cool, it would actually mean the caster gets his damage back on him.

Anyone else than me noticed that spell casting as a Cleric with War affinity seems bugged?
Spellcasting times are roughly doubled for any spell you try and cast.

I chose war and my only gripe is that the stance doesnt offer any mitigation and casting spells has a super delay.. even root is atleast 2x as long.

Basically in the stance our damage might be comparable to paladins but we dont heal as good as them and dont have the mitigation of them. I would think increased mitigation in the stance atleast would make sense.

It's the first...the ward reflects the spell back to the caster. Awesome buff for your tanks against spellcasting mobs/bosses.

In that stance if your points were used like a plds i.e. mostly str your dmg would be better than a plds and are you aware of that fact that your a healer not a tank. Some of the affinitys are just beging for a nerf and you want them more powerfull

Found something neat today after I picked War Affinity and started soloing like crazy.

HoTs are treated like DoTs... in that the first casting of a DoT is a randomized number for damage per tick and that if you recast the DoT that it doesn't randomize again for a new number but simply resets the duration of the existing DoT... so...

Before combat, swap to Healing stance (whatever it's called) toss a nuke out to pull, then throw a HoT on yourself, swap to War stance and start fighting. Say at level 20 my Heal stance hot is 322 and my War stance HoT is only 72 (because of -75% heal) if I continue to keep my HoT refreshed it will stay at 322 per tick even though I'm in War stance.

Like... whoa.

For Hathor Zhi, just kill all the level 10 mobs outside. Don't use a high damage 2h if you're higher level. If you one-shot them you wont get a faction hit. I used a 33 dps mace with auto attack to start since even a lower DPS weapon starting with an ability could kill them in one hit.

Oh thats real easy.. hathor was aggro to me so I went towards Dragonspire thing or whatever where theres tons of NPC's guarding gate so I would kill like 20 at a time with my AOE blade.
