Petition time still ridiculous!
I've been doing the Cragwind quest Shrine of Wind and had one of the shrines bug twice and eat two dull shards. So I figure no problem and petition around 6pm at night. 20+ hours later I finally get a reply, and I was online most of the time except to sleep so it's not like I missed them.
So I get two dull shards restored to me and then realize that the results of each shrine is a no rent item that I lost waiting for the first petition, so I petition again. (interestingly enough you're supposed to be able to trade in the no rent bits for replacement shards so you can at least do things over, but the quest giver is broken and won't take your no rent items, so you have no choice BUT to lose them).
Again 18 ****ing hours later I finally get an email from the GM. In my petition I explained that I lost the no rent items while waiting for the first petition, but she still says there's nothing she'll do about it because she warned me to use the dull shards she gave me at my own risk. I guess she can't ****ing read since it had nothing to do with the ones she gave me, and had everything to do with a bugged ****ing npc that won't trade when he's supposed to.
To make matters worse I finished the lesser shrines quest, so now the npc won't even trade in the silvers that require tons of farming into more dull shards, so I don't even have the option to regrind the quest and am missing the no rent bits to finish it.
First of all I thought they'd looked into petition times. It's not like the game can have that many people petitioning as the populations aren't that high. Every time I've ever needed a GM the same one has talked to me, so they're obviously understaffed and the CS is as shitty as ever.
Secondly, what kind of asshole designed the Shrine of Wind quest line. It takes so ****ing long to grind and is so ****ing bugged. The least the GMs can do is be understanding instead of just letting players waste like 50 hours of grind times because of lame ass bugs.
I've tried really hard to support this game, but lately I'm starting to lean towards hoping it crashes and burns because they don't even seem to give a shit about the players at this point.

They really do have to work on their in-game support. I spent 3 1/2 hours trying to help a guy retrieve his body which I'm guessing fell inside a cliff and was not retrievable (not even through shrines or dying again or floating down or anything).
The GM's never did respond to our requests for help (both our bodies fell into the mountain. I was able to get mine back from a shrine, but he couldn't).
Come to think of it, I haven't seen him online lately. I guess that's a bad first impression for a customer when a day into the game he loses all his stuff.
GM support would have helped a lot.

The in-game support in this game is garbage. Example: On gelenia we were doing the using the weapon quest, so we go up to the guy on the altar, click every chat option, every person in our group. Nothing happens, we tried killing the guy as he was, he respawned bugged again, and again, and again. I petitioned for a GM, 5 hours later, and still nada, i just decided to cancel my petition as there so friggin worthless. They need more GM's or a way of sorting petitions by priority(e.g Stuck corpse, Stuck Person, Bugged Mobs e.t.c) .

I agree - the petition response time is so bad that when the GM finally got to me, he had to remind me what I had petitioned about. It was about 20-24 hours after I had filed it. Not good.

lol, maybe that's the plan.
I petitioned a month or so ago and on the 3rd day it poofed with no mail or response, but I didn't even notice. A few days after that I remembered but figured it didn't matter anyways. So yah, maybe that's there plan, only the people with real problems will stick around for several days waiting for a petition, the rest will filter themselves out!

Worst MMO Customer Support ever.
Unreal too considering Michelle Butler knows exactly what it takes to run the department. Tells me there are shitty GM tools = shitty programmers.
Fire all the programmers. Done.

Have you noticed that the devs don't even talk on the forums anymore? Sounds kind of fishy... well whatever... my subscription ends on june 7 I guess I got less to loose now if the game does'nt improve.

Got a petition in now that is almost 2 days old involving my psi being stuck in the ground and still no answer. all you can see is his shoulders and head and the unstuck feature just mocks me. A gnome was not meant to be in the ground this long. But on the skeleton crew they prolly have going I am just happy when someone replies

That reminds me of Leth Nurae. I have an alt parked at the mailbox and every time I log in, he's standing half way below the ground. I can walk out of it, but someone at Sigil needs to take a look at the geometry in that area.
Couldn't you have just gotten someone to group with you and evac you out like a Sorcerer? Or are you in a place where nobody can get close enough?

SOE CS is heads and shoulders better than Sigil's current CS. In EQ2, when you petition, you get an answer that day if not within a few hours.
Sigil IS currently doing all their CS in house.

I would say that all indications point to financial trouble. The CS should be the easiest job to staff, yet they seem to be skimping on this. I think their monthly income can't pay salaries.

Found that mailing the GMs directly means faster response times, I'm sure they frown on that though :P
