What ever the change, I would like to thank the SV staff for the years of hard work they have given to the community. It really is amazing every thing you have committed to the community.

I hope that SV can revert back to the helpful and productive community board that existed before release. Despite the bitterness around nowadays, it was a great forum then and can be again.

Thanks for the mention We too are looking at the future of Vanguard Radio and what to do. We'll have our own announcement within a few weeks

I'm looking forward to see what SV plans to do. Hopefully it's something good, and not shutting down Silky Venom has been a great site so far and I'd hate to see it go.

I've watched this site since the day it was born. Even when it was born again, a trial by fire, this site grew to step up to fill the holes left in the community. This site has always been something I've been fond of. Now, I haven't always agreed with how some things were handled, and I certainly would have done things different in a few specific areas, but by and large I respect the work being done.

The thousands of hours and thousands of dollars it has taken to build this site is nothing short of amazing. I can't imagine letting something like this go away. However, all things do change, and shift. So when things change, I'll greet them like I did when this site first began it's evolution.

To the staff, keep up the good work.

I want to thank everyone at Silky Venom. It was through you I won my Beta key and through you through you that I felt I was not alone on Vanguard's uncertain ride. The forums may have been spiky at times but Silky Venom's spirit shone through and you gave us Telon wanderers a place to hang out and gather lots of valuable information.

Honestly, there isn't much more that can be said. I wish Sigil would remember when they used to divert people from their own site to Silky Venom to read a solid FAQ, because Sigil stopped updating their own. There are many other examples like this out there. All the negativity since launch aside, this is the best Vanguard site on the net.

So much here that I have come to turn to for information. I've got to give a big /cheer for Fozzik as well. Fozzik's Hardware has always been such a terrific place to find information, esp. to a computer n00b such as I. I've learned a ton, and felt comfortable amist the geeks.. The Dev tracker is something I have come to count on as well, very well done and thank you Silky Venom!

I hope SV continues to find success. I'll still be haunting the boards!

It has been sad to see the old days of a competitive yet friendly Vanguard Affiliate program where the sites really strived to reel in the audience.

SV and the others broke their backs trying to provide info and entertainment to the entire vanguard community.

It was also incredible to see the interaction between the affiliates the community and the developers as we all seemed to mesh perfectly with the same goals in the end.

Seeing how things have gone sicne release has soiled an otherwise fond memory but I am heartened to see that a group like SV prevails and keeps marching on.

I played EQII for 2 years and got almost none of my information from the official forums. Almost all of my information came from affiliated sites.
As long as the information here stays pertinent and useful, the site should do very well.
Oh and databases are nice. Vanguard needs a good affiliate site that has a constantly updated quest and item database

Count me as one of the ones that enjoyed Silky Venom for its freedom of speech and for providing a place for a wide variety of opinions. That said, I'm very appreciative to SOE for opening official forums as it was something I've wanted since soon after release. It's clear to me that it was the incompetence of Sigil's leadership that caused the affiliate experiment to fail and I in no way hold any affiliate site responsible for what's happened with Vanguard. I have no doubt that this will continue to be an important fan site for the community.

Kind of sucks, and makes me sad.

Felt burned in the past by SOE with SWG, and now this. So many lies and deceit to the community over that game, and somehow I dont think it will change for this one.
