Regretably my Artificing instructor has sent my Vulmane level 12 ranger to Themnwar's Shield (probably spelt that wrong) for the 1st level artisan specialisation quest (carpenter).
Unfortunately he is Kos to the Bordinar's Cleft and so far I've only found one way to raise faction with Bordinar: Killing Stonesmasher clan bugbears.
He currently needs to get 186 faction with the dwarves.
So, to prevent a Bugbear holocaust (and acute RSI) - can anyone suggest a less destructive way of gaining faction with Bordinar's Cleft? (He is also a level 61 diplomat BTW).
I beleive the southwatch outpost will give you BC faction, as well as thestran artisans. I hope that's right, it's been a while since i did my factioning over there. There's lots of helpful advie on vanguardcrafters.com

The Southwatch outpost did the trick (but at low level stick to the roads!!!!).
