Poll: Most powerful class part 2

Hello,

I just thought I would make a poll as of which class you think are the most powerful at the moment (i.e June 2007).

Sadly I cannot make a poll of more than 10 options so I have to make two polls.

This is meant to be an input to the devs regarding balancing of the classes, so please vote truthfully. If I couls have made polls on SOE's forums I would

Well, Necromancer, definitely. Second best dps after Sorcerer, a private army, fear, snare, lifetap, mana from health etc. Just uber.

Psion is very good as well, as is Sorcerer, Druid, Phoenix Shaman, and Bloodmage.

Those people who vote Cleric still believe the bug for double damage is in. It isnt, our dps is very low now. Soloing a Cleric sucks again, just like it did before the patch.

Disciple is the worst of the classes here, but that doesnt mean its really bad.

Having low dps does not mean a class isn't powerful. Saying that clerics "suck" at soloing is just flat out wrong, perhaps the word you're looking for is "boring" because they still seem to be a good solo class.

They SUCK. They take AGES to kill a 2dot. They take even longer to kill a 3dot. They MIGHT manage to kill a 4dot if they have good equipment, but unless thats a named with a good drop its utterly wasted time. As it requires 5 min time or so.

Compare that with a Warrior, a really bad solo class that might have a hard time against the 3dot and doesnt dare to go near to the 4dot unless their gear is uber, but can serial kill 2dots just fine.

Hey, they are the most powerful class because they are able to keep their group alive. Nobody asked for the most powerful solo class. I think, then it would have been shown totally different results.

Might have a hard time with a 3 dot? Warriors would be lucky to live through the encounter, going after a 4 dot is suicide. A cleric can prance up and knock down a 4 dot without breaking a sweat, yea it takes awhile but it's not hard at all.

Regardless you can take the damage from a warrior and combine it with the healing and survival of a cleric in these things called "groups" ...it's a strange concept I know but with both working together they can drop 4 dots quickly with little to no risk. Amazing huh?

Uuuuh ... dunno, I have farmed named 3dots on my lowlevel warrior just fine.

Granted, he has very good equipment for his level, but I havent maxed him in this respect either - just a fully crafted blue armor with some yellow drops in between, and a blue drop for the breastplate.

Anyway, my point was that Warriors can kill 2dots much faster, and thats possible even with much worser gear. Clerics kill slowly, especially if they are not of affinity Death or War and have to resort to mace, shield, and healer stance.

NECRO BY FARFAR is way overpowered Vs other classes ive seen lvl 50 necros solo lvl 50+ 6dot mobs. ok sure u say kite fear. no no im talking simple pet tanking and necro healing pet and life taping this is crazy and not only are they soloing 6dots but they are soloing all the 6 dot names as well lvl 50+ boss mobs

Duh. Because theres a second poll as you cannot have 15 choices in a poll, in this forum.

One would have thought thats obvious....
