After having the most votes in the recent server poll, Thunderaxe and Targonor were due to be copied to test today for GU2 testing, however Ellyra recently posted an update:

Apologies to all the folks who were looking forward to the server copy to Test today. Game Update 2 is nearly ready to go live, and in an effort to have it polished and playable asap, the development team decided the Test server needs to be up and running today (which means, no time to transfer characters over.)

Word has it that this means GU2 will hit the live servers sooner than later! And hopefully, the fabled Merge will follow soon after.

The Vanguard team invites you to hop on the Test server for an impromptu playtest, beginning right now!

The purpose of this playtime is to test the server load capacity with Game Update #2. In addition to this, players who are still on the newbie Diplomacy quest lines, those currently on high-end Diplomacy, and players (who make me jealous) that are using Vista and an 8800 video card are encouraged to log on and play!

This final line of testing is necessary in getting Game Update #2 ready for live. See you all in game!
