30 plat on one character, bank included. If you try to pick up anymore than 30p, it will instantly be deleted and you will lose the money. Each character on your account can have 30p, so the account is not limited to 30p.

Why would you want character to be limited to having 30 platinum? I have been playing everquest2 for 3 years now and I don't think there is a system like this in place over there. (and i can't think of any reason as why to put in)
