I'm seeing quite a few /signed with a sign up date of today. Either way I'm surprised how fast the thread has gotten to 9 pages. 9 pages of just /sign isn't too shabby considering there no flame wars going on that have upped the page count.

No they just want a head count of the "Vocal minority"

In all seriousness they will give the definition later. As of right now he has stated game play closer to how Vanguard was at launch. They want to see if there's enough people interested before they bother with what the specifics will be.

Personally I don't think calling it a "hardcore server" is really the best term to use.

Whats the point of a server/poll like this on the Official Forums. Forums you can only log onto if you have a CURRENT SOE account.

Game been out a year, surely most of the people that don't like the direction Silius has taken the game (me for one) have ALREADY left and hence can not log onto the forum.

So what Silius is getting is a sample from a sample of people that still kinda like the game. A bit meaningless isn't it?

In the end, it's a silly exercise and a fool's hope. I have been known to be foolishly dragged into this type of hype in the past. Oh well, it's entertaining if nothing else. Of course nothing will come of it. We all know that.

What's fun is reading the folks who don't want this added to "their" game. It would mean that there is something more to what they're playing than...what they're playing.

There are some post at the SOE forum in which people say that SOE should not spend resources to change the game for a hardcore server. I find that ironic, because the /signed people want SOE to undo the changes they did, you know, when they spend resources on things other than bugs to change the game.

Have to agree. Everytime VG is mentioned over there the posters get shamed back into the closet. FOH would be a minefield and no one would just let it be what it is.

why dont they make a /signed post for the people who would play the game that was promised to everyone pre-launch? if my numbers are right, 200k people wanted to play that vanguard that never actually existed
