A comet the size of Texas is heading directly for Earth. It has been calculated by NASA that in 25 years it will hit the planet and exterminate all life.

Our technology at this point in history has evolved to the point that we can use DNA to create any life form.

It has been decided by the US government and the people that one man or woman will have 25 years to lead us and be in charge of the preserving the human race and as many species as possible. A modern day Noah.

There will be no more elections due to them being a waste of time and that they will only hurt any progress made by the previous president.

One final election will be held. This election is for the last president in human history. The people will need to choose who will lead the country for the next 25 years. This president will need to come up with a plan that will lead to the survival of the human race and execute it. Time of course is of the essence.

You can choose from anyone in the present day age 45 or younger or pick from any world leader from anytime in history alive or dead. Meaning if President Kennedy was still alive he would be about 80 today, even though he is still alive you would be able to create Kennedy at any age you choose.

I really can't see cloning as a solution, because with environment factored into psychological and emotional development the individuals mind and all abilities associated with creativity inspiration vision and leadership would not be the same. In short... you would not end up with the same person you wanted to fill the need. You just can't duplicate the life experiences that "made the Man 'or' Woman through cloning.

If you could... I'd say a more present day leader with vision and charisma such as J. F. Kennedy. One that can see and "understand" what could and can be done.
