So after a clean install, I'm ready for some BF2 action. Install, patch, load game, get booted to main screen w/ some PB error, install PB, load game, get booted to main screen w/ "no communication w/ punkbusterA.exe". So I reinstall but same deal. Basically pbA isn't running at all, apparently pb isn't installing correctly, I don't know wth is going on. Any ideas?

Are you on Vista? Is there maybe a parental control setting it's conflicting with?

I am on Vista (I was before the clean install as well). I only have the one user account, so no parental controls... I haven't tried turning off UAC yet, so I'll give that a shot.

UAC seems to have been it.
