The next Nvidia chip won't just be a GPU, but also have CPU brain power, doing effectively what Intel's Larrabee was set to do.

What does this mean for gaming? To start a much more powerful GPU, not just because of the CPU brain power, but also because of the shader changes. But also, once people learn to take advantage of things it should make some nice leaps forward for gaming, maybe in things like super advanced physics or AI.

Time will tell what the 3xx series will bring, but I'm sure we will start to hear some exciting news very soon, as it's set to launch in October.
