Could well be right there Lone. As long as this forum exists I don't see any reason to not post here, the off-topic forum has some good information and posts on new games.
We might only have 10 active posters at most but the pub is always open to new drinkers!

Don't worry I've got a plan.
We continue to post off-topic until someone posts some awesome new updated information that we've not yet heard. After that we post about it for a couple of pages until casually bringing it back on to the off-topic side of things.
 this thread along with the forum died a long time ago. If we were to stick to the topics, we'd be recycling every bit of information since SoE took control.

I listened to one yesterday afternoon on the radio it was a football match (euro football). My team lost  Queens Park Rangers 0 Middlesbrough 2 |

So here's a completely on-topic question... What happened to the blog? Did Brad crawl back into his hole after deciding the time wasn't quite right yet? Is he going to pop up at one of the developers making the next gen games, like 38 studios or Trion World Network?
Maybe he's back at SoE and about to announce his new position as "the guy secretly helping Smedley to finally make a decent MMORPG decision for once". It's an obscure job, but an important one, I think.

My thoughts are he needs to go back and relearn a few basics before he tries again...maybe get an internship at a game like RuneScape.

I'm of the opinion that he's decided now is not the time with all the bad press his blog is getting.
Very few are willing to forgive and forget just yet.
If I were him and absolutely *had* to be in the gaming industry I would quietly slip back in somewhere amidst as little fan fair as I could muster. If my next attempt was well received I would then say it was me. To do so beforehand is opening up whichever title you're working on to a lot of pent up anger from your player base that may or may not be deserved on that new title.

Wow, I really missed that one. When did we find that out? I'm guessing that's not new info since you just mention it off-handedly. I really have been kind of out of touch with the industry...
Drifting in the sad and lonely limbo of no good games to play.
Well, It's another SoE title, so I think I'll have to skip it and just be a spectator for how this one turns out.
