Population state for those that dont browse the OVF.
Damn. Didn't know it had gotten this bad.

Hi guys. I play on Seradon. Great community etc. But the population seems to be sliding towards zero. All this last week during prime time east coast then prime time west coast doing a /who all count of every ten levels yielded 485 and 464 respectively on average Mon-Sun.

Nearly 500 concurrent players. That's not as low as I had imagined. I'd be interested to see the level break-up of those 500 players.

They'll merge at some point, just for the cost savings it will offer. It will be another step along the road to oblivion. SOE rescued the thing, but ended up letting it starve. They are ok with that.

Maybe I misread that. Was it nearly 500 people in the /who total for the whole week? Or was that an average per night? If it was the total number then that is much more of a bleak outlook than 500 concurrent players per night. That would average out to about 70 people a night.

In before Taloodah.
Can't be long now before the merge. Did Silius ever return?

Assuming the standard 1/5th is online at prime time and all servers are the same (I know, Seradon is the most populated), that means the game population is a total of 10,000. And that's a high number. I suppose they should be lucky after 2+ years to have that many.

That's being generous. I'm positive that many of the 485 people on at east coast prime time were still on during the west coast prime time count. You'd probably have to temper down that 10,000 number by at least a couple thousand.

It does not matter how long they stay on, because the quick calculation assumes 1/5th at a single prime time. But, as I said not all servers are equal. The Euro server is probably about half and the PvP less than that, so probably a more accurate guess would be about 7000 based on that prime time number.

How is this game doing? anyone that is subbed know? I cant post on the OVF anymore. I like Judah, but dont answer, i already know your answer. ll
I tried Aion, its almost there, but there is some spots in the game, that are mindnumbling boring like 22-25, so i am stuck almost at 24. I hate solo grinding. I hate it all to hell. Turns me off from playing big time. These are MMO's you need to level with groups. If i wanted to play a solo to level up, i would play console games!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, Just curious to know if they have any raid zones yet? lol Its been 2 years now since the last one. Wow.

I think you will find that, with the age and condition of the game, only the few remaining fanbois are left playing.
