I'm very much feeling the same way you are, Wild. I've been following Copernicus for several years now (well, following the company and the lack of info)...and actually some of the things that Bob Salvatore has said really have that glimmer of hope burning deep in my soul. Also, I think the art style might be really cool...sort of a grown-up and moody cartoon style, like old Disney movies (sleeping beauty)...created by Todd McFarlane. Should be really nice.
I've been hanging out at
38fans, a Copernicus fan site. Posts are few and far between there so far, but I'm guessing it will pick up big time next week. Curt Schilling just announced that they will be revealing the company's first game week after next at Comicon! It's a single-player RPG by Big Huge Games (which 38 studios purchased), and it's going to utilize the Copernicus world and characters.
So basically, we'll be getting our first look at the IP that 38 studios has been working on all this time. Should be exiting.
I think Copernicus might still be months away, or even a year, from its big reveal. It's probably a year behind Rift overall, sadly.
