Default Little problem with my new radeon 5770

this is my first ati card, so its kinda werid for me.. lol so i have a couple quick questions. first off when my pc goes to sleep and the monitor goes to sleep it stays on, just black but giving out alot of light. second, i really thought id get a bit more power out of this card, but maybe its cause i installed win764bit the same time as intalling this card.. but trying to run dx11 games is almost not worth it. might be my processor... but the first problem is my current main concern, but if anyone has any advice on ocing this card.. please let me know! thanks

Your entire system does have an effect on how games play... if you list the specs here we can probably help to find the bottlenecks that might be holding you back.

Do be aware that DX11 games are really new and bleeding-edge, so it's very likely that the techniques they are using right now probably aren't very efficient and probably do cause a big performance hit for only a moderate gain in eye candy. That will change over time as developers really learn how to make efficient use of the newer platform.

You should be able to adjust the power settings for your monitor through the Windows display properties. Is it set to turn off the monitor after a certain amount of time?
