I has a friend who is looking for a new core for teh free. Anyone have a 'spare' CPU/MB/ram laying around?

I have a feeling though he's looking to build something for SW:ToR and warned him that it's highly likely any 'old stuff laying around' after someone's upgraded is doing so because it isn't current game worthy. No message back on if that's his intentions or not.

Ok he's talking crazy talk. He has a "$200 graphics card", so he specifically wants AGP.

Things are weird between us, so I'm not going to tell him that's crazy talk and a $50 PCIe v2 card would likely run circles around the "$200 AGP graphics", but whatever. Apparently this isn't going to be a gaming build.

So... that definately limits things.

More weird. Now he's saying he's fine with whatever old system someone may be upgrading from. (Which is what I'd told him he'd probably be looking at if I found somethinig on the boards for him. )

For whatever reason it doesn't need to be gaming grade. I think his system is like 6-7 years old. My netbook likely is more powerful.
