I've got about 30 hours /played now...and I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. The environment art is just awesome, especially in the dungeons. It's so lush and alive and full of ambiance and detail. I lose myself in the world when I play, and actually lose track of time (that hasn't happened with a game since Portal 2).
The combat really continues to keep the game fun and engaging, regardless of what quest or task I'm working on. I love the fact that I completely forget about the buttons, and get immersed into the action. The only thoughts in my head during big fights are things like:
Big hit coming, time to dodge...which direction...swing swing icebolt....dodge left...Block!
Unlike most games where I'm thinking 5... 5....1....2....1....2 and watching health bars.
There is SO much to do in the game...I'm often finding quests after I've already completed the content because I love to explore and wander. I still haven't left the first main area...there's still some collecting and a few hidden places to discover.
The game definitely isn't perfect...there's some very annoying little bugs, plus the camera issues. There's also some things left out that really should have been there, like the ability to abandon a quest. I also don't like that my character doesn't talk, it really takes away from the immersion.
Without a doubt, I'll be watching their MMORPG closely, and I would definitely buy another SPRPG from them if given the chance.
