Default Raspberry Pi

What a neat little gadget. Really reminds me of the old days of computing with Sinclair, Acorn etc. Just £25 or $33 for a fully fledged PC with all the software you need to get going. Speaking of Acorn it's using the ARM chip created by Curry and the team. Fantastic design.

Reminds me of the good old days in the early eighties when we learned BASIC programming on the Commodores or original Apples. Very cool.

Absolutely Fozz. I was thinking of the same era with Acorn and Sinclair being the British equivalents of Commodore and Apple. I'd love to step back in time to those days and have a wander about. Computing was magical back then.

I remember programming the little thing to draw a face on the screen. I think those were Commodores or maybe Apples. A couple years later we had Macs with hypercard. Hypercard scripting, now that was fun!

Yeah nice little thing though. Personally I am far more interested in raspberry pie though these days. Need some stretchier pants.

I own one but have not even seen it yet. Actually I'd forgotten all about it, but it's still in a box somewhere in this room collecting dust.

Thought it might make for a nice project to get me back into programming with Python again. Now I've taken up Java and am off to college later next year, I've not had the desire to look at it. Odd really because I'm sure I can find plenty of uses for it!
