Since its inception, Vanguard Silky Venom has held strong in its desire to create a site that is by the community and for the community and so far it seems we're on the right path. This site is what it is today because of every single one of you. Our community members are some of the most well informed people out there and while we recognize that some of you may want to contribute more, we also know that you may not have the time available or even the desire to contribute full time. With that in mind, we’ve decided to try something new. We are now accepting feature contributions from community members.
Many of you have a lot to say that the community as a whole would like to hear. Whether its insightful, funny, or just a whole new perspective on an existing topic (pvp vs pve anyone?), we’d like to invite you to share it with us. If you have something to say, say it! After all, this is just as much your site as it is ours. Should your feature be accepted and published on our site, you will be given full credit, a news blurb in the Community Announcements section of the official Vanguard: Saga of Heroes forums, and best of all, a neat, nifty, new forum name color and title (like
Doresain’s!)
There are a few simple rules that need to be followed:
- First, email us a synopsis of your idea. This way we can tell you if it’s something we would consider posting before you bother to write the whole thing up. You should expect an answer within 24 hours under most circumstances.
- Once accepted, that doesn’t guarantee it’ll be published. Quality is of the utmost importance as well as originality and content. If we have to do too much editing or wordsmithing, it gets sent back to the author.
- When you submit a story, please remember to include appropriate links if applicable. Also, you'll have a better chance of garnering attention for your article if you use a clear and specific subject line.
- Illustrations are a great way to enhance an article. If you have specific pictures in mind, provide the link to those so we can include them, otherwise we reserve the right to illustrate as we see fit.
