I think my most satisfying camp was Raster of Guk something like 12 hours of sitting there in the living side of LGuk but he popped for me The worst was when I attempted to get part of my Warden's Symbol of Tunare on my main the spawn was broken but I didn't know that so I worked on the freaking thing for 20 hours before going to bed.

Wowsa... such flashbacks. I would have to say that one of my greatest game marathons delt with the Plain of Fear. Back in the day, before any of the expansions, PoF was a zone to be... well, feared. After several hours trying to clear the SW corner we finally get into the normal pulling. I was a wizard at the time and it was my greatest joy to be the one to land the killing blow on a mob. I would shout out "POW" to everyone. I got to be pretty good. As the night then morning wore on I found myself ...asleep. I woke to an empty zone... but not for long because the original inhabitant were returning. No worries, I'm a wizard, I can just teleport out. Hmm, for some reason I dont have any mana. I just couldnt figure out and the panic set in. What I didnt realize at first was that I had run out of food/water. Remember that?? Without it, you loose mana. So there I was, alone... and facing imminent death and possible complete loss of all of my hard earned possessions. Thankfully another wizard friend was still online and zoned in and ported the 2 of us out. I felt so stupid! They didnt let me live that one down for a long time.

lower guk
For me, some of the best memories were from Lower Guk. There were so many camps there and back when it was filled with people it was a lot of fun. It was almost like a little community in itself. I would usually go there and stay for a week camping stuff and others would do the same, so you ended up making a lot of new friends. The FBSS camp was great, because you not only had the experience grind of the BT ghouls and the others around there, but if you had a good puller, you could actually pull all the named around the area and still be considered camping the FBSS as long as it wasn't too crowded. I really hated camping the Sage or whatever for the SMR for the necro epic, and the Assassin was always a pain in the butt to get to spawn. LGUK = greatest oldworld (before kunark)dungeon IMO.

I never spent a real long time in the game without sleep or anything. But this one raid does stick out. We were raiding the Plane of Hate, back when that actually meant something. Anyway we were working our way through when we decided to take a small break between spawns for bathroom, etc, when this pally in my group says "brb i'm wheeling into the kitchen for a drink." I was curious so when he got back I asked if he was handicapped. He replied, "nope, i found this wheelchair on my way home from class today so i brought it up to my apartment and now i'm wheeling around in it." I'm not sure if I stopped laughing through the rest of the raid. It was the only time I played with him, but I still remember his name...Pedro.

I'll start by saying, yes i camped stormfeather with my alt. BUT(ducking fast) first time i took the boat over there with my chanter(instead of OT). I saw this griffin up the hill, so i killed him and went on my merry way. But for those who are ready to choke me, i camped him with my war for 2 weeks, got KSed 2 times. Then got him.
As for longest? 52 hrs STRAIGHT. Logged on thurs night, spent that night and the next 2 nights doing HATE raids. 3 Hate raids in a row as main mezzer(played enchanter). Along with some EXPing. By Sunday morning i finally finished up the 4th Hate raid and headed off to crash.

My longest EQ camp was 13 hours for my mask of the deceiver. Now I know you're al going wtf? I was only around level 20 and no one could hold the camp. Then a high level necromancer came it and I thought I was in luck. He then made his way to the camp, destroying everything in his path, then switched to his bard, looted the mask and left. Eventually a group came in who could hold the camp and I got my mask.

Alright, so general disclaimer, I do not recommend doing the following even in the safety of your own home
---
So it was a weekend during summer break, the nights were long and the raiding was on!! Or well so I thought, here I am, a hardcore raider with no rading guild. Why do you sir, all mighty of mighty raiding have no mighty raiding guild? Well the answer my friends is that they decided to up and change servers on me while I moved into my new home!
Without delay I submitted the form to change servers...but omgarsh it may take up to 72 hours? Whatever shall I do??
Well my solution was...72 hours of AA grinding..capital idea!
I put on my jammies and grab a tall glass of water and proceed to the helm of my computer. I find a most hardcore of hardcore grind groups in the Plane of Earth, together interchanging members on rotations with me being the central binding point me and about 12 other individuals decimated the plane of earth with unbridled fury!
It wasnt until deep into the third day that I begain to realise the..side effects...of sleep deprevation. Now here is the deal, I play a bard in EQ, I love pulling, and if I may toot my own horn, I rock at it. So here I am pulling for near 72 hours strait when I go to get another refreshing glass of water...however this was not to be so, as lurking in the corner of my room was a stone grabber! His giant vortex of swirling rock and magical energy quietly stirring in his resting place. I turn back to my computer and tell the group "Guys I have to be really quiet, there is a stonegrabber in my room and I don't want to aggro it!"
It was about that time that one of my friends politely told me to go to bed and removed me from the group. I thanked him later...as it turns out during this play session there had been a billing error and they were unable to verify my character move...suffice to say I fixed the error passed out and when I woke up my character was moved...within 5 minutes I was raiding Rallos Zek...Yippeee!
Long story short, I hate stone grabbers

A couple of months ago CoH had a double XP weekend. I took my scrapper from level 42 to the level 50(50 is the max). Between naps here and there, I think I played almost 40 hours from Friday after work till Sunday night around 10pm. I could barely see or walk when I finaly got to 50...I don't recomend playing that long to anyone.

I've played for close to 48 hours once or twice. That was pretty insane. Usually 8 hours (on a day off) is about the most I can handle without going a little wonky.

where to start lol...
i think my first MMO was Earth and Beyond. and i know i played that for more than 30 hours staight on more than one occasion.
then there was SWG. and man i can say that was a huge time sink.. took me 27 proffesions to unlock jedi. its really hard to tell what my longest session was well over 48hours last i checked just one of my characters had over 1000 hours and i had about 3 accounts i played.
then there was EQ2 being one of the first monks on my server to reach max lvl was fun and getting there took alot of long nights.
after that i went and played WoW and there were some more long nights hehe
and most recently i picked up playing diablo2 and according to xfire last week i played it for 123 hours that week.
ive got lots of free time to devote to games lol

My worst camp...
My longest camp was 6 days long, the last 3 of which i was at the computer almost completly nonstop. It was camping for the Ragefire to get my cleric epic weapon (I notice this camp has been mentioned several times already).
At the time, on the Rodcet Nife server, the way you got this camp was to stand in line....which meant in order to maintain your place in line, you had to sit in the camp with the cleric who was up for the next spawn...once he got his, you sent a tell to the next person on the list and they came and kept you company. I sat through the entire previous spawn with the guy ahead of me, then I called into work for the next week and settled in to wait.
3 mind numbing days later, Ragefire spawns....at 7am EST, on the morning of a scheduled update! I was the only person in my guild who was online, and I began to panic. I sent a tearful tell to a friend of mine who happened to be online, and the next thing I know, he shows up with the Forsaken guild and wipes out that dragon faster than I've ever seen it happen. I got the last piece for my rez-stick, gave all other loot to that guild and logged off for some well deserved sleep.
Now the kicker...when I logged back on, the update notes read that ragefire was now a triggered spawn for the cleric epic quest!!!

the only time where i ever had this kind of feeling about killing 1 more mob or doing 1 more pull was during the AQ opeining on our WoW server. we had all the top guilds going head to head against each other and against mobs... there were some mobs that u learnt to avoid: like a general that if left for long enough would hit u from like 100 yards for like 5k+ every 2 seconds... those rnt nice to meet. but then as u kill the mobs we got like 1000 reputation per kill. the kills took some time and skill but nothng too major. then there was the loot as well. AWSOME damage and healing gear for me: healing shaman. and everything was in the range of blue to even some very nice epic drops.

Oh, how insanely satisfying it is to look out of your window at 6:00 AM, and see people waking up to go about their daily lives, while you know you have no school/work that day, and have been up for 20+ hours straight leveling your character.
I plan to have many of these with Vanguard.

Mine was on DDO. First weekend of the headstart, me and a buddy got the game. We are diehard old school geeks and this was our holy grail. D&D on a computer?!?!? Don't have to learn a whole new skill/class system?! So 30 hours of gaming later, Monday arrives and it was back to work.
On that note, I do miss some of the features of DDO. Mainly voice chat. It was great in a group to have that. Not even just for quest coordination, but if everyone was doing their own thing, we would still be in group with guildies to hang out. I know there are 3rd party voice chat apps, and we're looking into them. Oh, and we're trying to convert as many of our DDO brothers and sisters as we can....

Hoo boy ... Ashenbone drakes for Sk epic ... decrepit hide anyone? Or how about Soul Leech when it would only drop off Cazic Thule twice a year? I clearly remember the day I finally got my hide after ... weeks of camping, sometimes weekends at a time, and my friend had a Soul Leech he would never use (wasn't an SK). We decided to MQ the thing and ... yea ... screwed it up. Luckily I knew a couple GMs and though they wouldn't give me everything back, they gave me the hide back. I had to go kill Terror to get Soul Leech, but it didn't take long at all.
That, in itself though was an interesting story. Being 65, with a 65 druid and shaman, in Fear ... not too scary at all at those levels. Nothing like the days of old. However, for some weird reason. I was the ONLY person to get deathtouched ... over, and over, and over. I wasn't even anywhere near the golems and they would DT me. I could sit next to CT (I was Iksar) and nothing ... my druid friend aggroed 2 golems and half the zone and AS THEY RAN BY ME ... DTed me instead of her.
