Default Silky Venom's E3 2006 Video - Player Housing

Among the things Star Wars Galaxies did wrong, one cannot deny the innovative elements that it did bring to the MMO space. The Raph Koster vision was present in the game, especially early on. Borrowing from the success of UO's non-character-related gameplay elements, player housing was one aspect that was innovative in SWG.

Moving on to the next video in our E3 2006 series, we present Vanguard's interpretation of the same:

[ Player Housing ] - Direct (Temporarily Unavailable - 05/18/2006 1:00pm PST)
[ Player Housing ] - FilePlanet mirror

As demonstrated by Jeff Butler, Executive Producer of Vanguard and President of Sigil Games Online. Oh, and we threw in a few other goodies, too.

Big file. Around 77mb or so I think, the more the merrier

Him turning that mug around and the violin thing (didnt catch the name but you get what I mean) and placing it in any spot amazed me (Then again I haven't played SWG..) Also how the plots are setup was interesting.

I wonder if, while walking inside your house, someone w/o permission can sneak in right behind you... or if the door 'seems' shut and locked to them.

Great video.

Awesome video Nola! I always love seeing the Sigil crew, and Jeff in particular, talking about the game - you can tell he has a lot of fun with the game and really cares about it.

I get a definite SWG vibe off that part of the game, which it seems clear Sigil's going for, and it's nice to see someone pick up on the good elements of that game and incorporate them into a more favorable context.
