Few would. They have to be 750w min, though most recommend 850w, and have quad PCIe x16 connectors.

This seems to have snuck by without notice...
BenQ FP222W 22", 1680x1050 res, 5ms response, 300 cd/m2, 700:1 contrast $340
Slightly better stats than the 20.1", slightly bigger.
Seems a few peeps are going to a couple inches bigger with the same res. Guess it makes sense, gives peeps a bigger view while keeping specs lower.
Looks like a good one.

XFX 7900 GTX finally came back from RMA. Completely brand new one sealed in box. Hum free copy of Ghost Recon too.
Model PV-T71F-YHE9
Official page
New value at ZipZoomFly (though I don't think this one is in production anymore) shows $420. Seeeoooo I'll call it $380 which will include shipping to the U.S. via FedEx ground.
If interested send me a PM. If I don't hear from peeps by sayyyyyyy Friday early afternoon my time I'll drop it on Ebay.
Remember, XFX has a double lifetime coverage policy, so you'd have lifetime coverage yourself.

Oh I was going to mention many of the GTSs are down in the $425-450 range on NewEgg after rebate.
Crazy considering they just came out roughly a month ago. (That's like $75 off.)

8800GTX's are commonly down about $600-$610 now. With rebate, one gets down to $560 until 12/22.

I havent been right on top of things here, so it may already have been posted (and this forum is starting to move at lightspeed now!). But heres an article from 10 days ago stating intel to cut up to 40% on cpus. This is at Jan 7 2007 when they launch their new gear.

May be worth holding a couple of weeks if planning to get one.

It took me a long while to open the link above. I thought I'd just post the charts right here. Great information Julianr, thanks.

I just got back from Best Buy and the Logitech G5 Gaming mouse is on sale for $34.99. I had to pick it up because I knew I couldn't beat that price.

I zipped over there today on my break to check it out and they only had 1 left so I grabbed it. Seems really nice so far. I needed a new mouse anyway so I figured why not, prob wouldn't have paid full price for it so the price was right.

SteelPad Steel Keys 6G $95
While $95 doesn't seem like much of a "sale", the fact that NewEgg has it at all is fairly new. I haven't kept up with the keyboard much lately, as it originally showed up at the Steel Series site with a $125 price tag.
Me, I'll probably get it, but not until it is closer to $50. Even with an open box price of $75 that seems really steep for a keyboard.
Not a keyboard for those who want macro keys - it's more for someone like me who wants responsiveness and who just uses 'the basic stuff'.

Sorry to go off-topic here, but I had to reply on this. It's funny to me that you end up paying 4-5 times the amount of money for a keyboard that uses "the basic stuff". So ironic to me.

Ultra 550 watts modular power supply $79.99
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...350&CatId=2036
See link above, I just got one for my 8800gtx, e6600 setup. I will update you guys and see if it works ok. But you can't beat the price for a complete modular cable. It has 12v with 35A total.
update: Runs perfectly fine with my rig.
