Default Any Good Tutorial for Diplomacy?

The ingame tutorial has left me stumped...

Anyone have a link to a good tutorial on diplomacy? I re-read through the ingame tutorial several times and I am still stumped! It looks like a whole lot of fun, but I just can't figure out.

Thanks!

We've got several nice guides over at VGTact, if you're interested. More to come soon, too.

The in-game tutorial left me confused about a few things as well; however, after a few parleys everything became quite clear. Although diplomacy may seem complicated if all you have done are the introductory quests, it is really not as confusing as it seems. You would likely get much more satisfaction doing some experimentation and figuring it out yourself than reading a tutorial, and I promise that if you fancy yourself as being somewhat intelligent a bit of experimentation will do the trick.

Yeah the ingame Diplomacy information make's it sound so complicated but once you play a few times it becomes very easy to pick up.

Are you talking about Therian's huge thread? She might have it on the wiki already.

I'm playing a Raki (only been in beta for a caouple days) and the Diplomacy left me lost as well. I couldn't find the person the quest told me to find. I found a different diplomacy trainer but he said he refused to train Raki.

Could you post a link to that great guide you found?

I've actually already found that guide. While it looks good (pictures always help!) it doesn't help me get started as it only talks about the wood elf diplomacy trainer.

I'm going to try to log in soon and wander some more looking for the Raki trainer.

For the beta-forum-capable folks, this is the thread that I was thinking Roena was talking about.

I found the Raki trainer, Moni. The problem was the quest gave the wrong location for him.

Hopefully my bug report will get it corrected before release.

BTW, I really like the way they use the training quests to give out Lore and History. It made the training quite enjoyable.
