I hope I didn't miss this information in the guide. I browsed it a couple of times and saw lots of other good information.
I haven't included any information quests and such.

In Hathor Zhi, the trainer gaps recipe trains between 8 and 12, which I am assuming is where the "seeking the trainer" quest would normally be given
No, this is a "gap"...I use the term under advisement, since this is simply a recipe gap and not a quest gap. You aren't supposed to be able to level up on recipes.

The quest is at level 11.

I started grinding again, 12 to 15... and now the trainer gaps again from 14 to 18. I'm sure I could just keep doing WOs, but it's obvious that there's another quest to be had
No, more work orders. The next quest(s) are at level 21. You get the next title quest, and the quests to learn to build houses open up.

There are very few crafting quests. Expect to do thousands (possibly tens of thousands) work orders to reach level 50.

Houses quests doesn't open at lvl21 but lvl21 +500 continental faction, given that you need to craft grade A items for some of them don't try before around lvl25+ at least.

Crafting equipements and rares quests seems to open depending of your faction with a certain town crafters and you may need to do some easy ones before the most interesting get avaible.

My recommandation is to go to Rindol's Field for the two crafting jewelry quests there, also a consumable item quest there.

Great guide, Matuse.

For Loose Clamp, I am almost certain there is at least a low, and maybe a moderate Efficiency penalty although it doesn't say it in the text. You might want to test it out and see if your experience matches mine.

I always remedy Loose Clamp these days after discovering the efficiency penalty.

There are a lot of complications that do more than they claim. I've pretty much given up on letting any of them stand unless they are beneficial. Only exception is when I'm at the tail end of the session and can just burn through it (but rarely then, because almost invariably I'll get hit with a second comp that makes me fail).

Maybe that's what the patch notes meant when they said that complications were made more complex...cause aside from all the hidden penalties, I haven't seen any difference at all.

Could you quickly throw up a guide for basic item construction?

As you said, the low level recipe is extremely confusing. I have a gem now, but do I need every single gem to make a single piece? Does it come out as a ring/earring or neck? I'm kinda confused as to how to actually make something.

Was this in the guide as well or did I miss it?

One of my biggest complaints is when you are buying utilities, it doesn't throw them in the utility bag for you. Seems stupid that it can't check to see if you have one, with free slots, and fill it if you have it.

You get all the stuff into inventory, and then have to spend the next 5 minutes dragging it all into the utility bag. This feels like crafting in SWG with factories... making the subs, then dragging them all back out of the hopper into your inventory, then dragging them all back into the input hopper on the same (or another) factory...

Multiple selection at least would really help...

J!

Heh, 3 months since I did an update...I do have 4 notebook pages of more stuff to add to it, I just haven't been bothered to crib it all down. Doesn't help that there have been at least 2 patches where Sigil claimed to overhaul complications, so most of the information there is likely inaccurate, and I'd have to go through them all again.
