There's about a thousand things I would love to expand on before we ship, but at some point you have to look at the time we have left, pick a number and go with it. We haven't set the min / max limits on the character creation sliders yet. They will be in there for release. Once it's set, it will limit most of the oddities that you see now.

I believe the student version has everything you would need to learn modeling for video games. Personally, I bought a book, and started doing tutorials out of it. Once I learned the basics, I started modeling anything that interested me. School is usually a good thing if you can swing it. But I have hired artists that were self taught that had the talent.

We started with version 3 I think, and upgraded over time up to ver.6.0.1. At this point, all our tools are set-up and working, so we won't be upgrading again until after ship. And even that isn't guaranteed.

We can't risk breaking the tools and / or spending coding time converting the tools to work with a newer version. So sadly, no new versions.

That would be pretty sweet. The artists have been debating if that is even still possible at this point after all the engine MOD's.

When Sigil was first started, we were asked to make a short movie clip showing ur vision of the game. After we were done, we took the level, and turned into an unreal deathmatch level. We played it for days. It was really fun.
