If one of your guildmates has received an invite and noone else has and yet you all know about it, that's a different sort of problem..

The guildleader will be notified when the guild is accepted. If your friend has a question as to why he was accepted (re: guild or CGM), he can email customersupport@sigilgames.com to ensure there hasn't been an error.

As of today, 127 entire guilds have been invited.

It is my understanding that all the Fanguard attendees should have been processed by now. If you attended Fanguard and have not received your invitation to apply or participate and have not been banned or suspended for naughty behavior, or otherwise exempted because of your status in the industry, press, etc..

We've added people from a variety of sources, including the promo code in the magazine. This doesn't mean *all* the people who submitted codes are in yet, but some are.

Don't worry about needing to update specs. We're entering a phase of severe optimizations and we will be needing people to participate in the Beta who have all variety of system configurations -- so we won't be using that as a gating criteria going forward.

We do appreciate that you want to ensure we have accurate information, and we may choose to poll that data for demographic purposes at some point in the future, but we won't be collecting it for Beta participation purposes, at least in the forseeable future.

They will definitely not all be sent out today. We are adding people in batches of around 500 to keep the patcher speeds from slowing to a crawl and ensure that we get a good population/economic spread.

And the first batches will most likely go out today. Brad will probably post a formal announcement when we've officially transitioned.

We're aware of the problem and are looking into potential ways to solve it. Sorry for the inconvenience folks.

Cost. It's expensive to trek to Europe with enough Developers, Programmers, IT support, Marketing & PR people, etc. to show the game as it needs to be shown if we were to do it publicly.

A trek 1 hour up the coast to E3 is not nearly so expensive. We can use those resources on designers, coders, and artists to make a better game.
