Sorry Original Mexican Bob.
Wait a sec, I thought Mother Russia was going to rise again, not the south...?
Tee-hee.

I'm wearing that wizard hat in my mount pic because I like wizard hats - it's technically not that good for a leather class as it's cloth based.
See! Now I want to see tons of that. Hundreds of different clothing styles and such. And hats. Just for fun. Of course armor itself should look different as well, but a character shouldn't have to equip armor to look different, that is just stupid.
Why kill monsters if you can't look good doing it?
I haven't played WoW actually.
And Murr if you like wizard hats, then by golly, wear wizard hats. Thats how you should decide what to wear.
Also, nice robo ostrich. (?)

Why don't the games ever focus on the important things, like being able to buy a non-stat adjusting hat, and when you equip it, it changes the character to show him/her wearing the hat? Or a jacket.
In the next MMORPG I play, if I see people running around holding cups, and I ask them why, and they respond with "THEY BOOST MY STATS, DUH," I will start my massive project to invent a way to punch someone through the computer.
Then again that ones been in the works for years. Sadly, not making any progress.

On a completely different note Original Mexican Bob, where is Fake Mexican Bob? Quote: As for Rand’s women issues, I think this stems from his upbringing in a sort of backwards redneck "Howdy y'all" environment. I know people like him in real life from the Deep South that would be a lot more upset than Rand if a woman died under their command.
Yeah, his friends are pretty red around the neck as well, Perrin most of all.

Quote: I sat down and read the first 8-9 back to back. They were good, but with the last two-three you can see he's really started drawing it out much more than is neccesary. I think Perrin's plot in the last book was... Perrin buys grain.
Hahaha, oh, it is true. Quote: I don't think the problem is that the characters are one dimensional. It's that they're all very similar. Everyone is stubborn as hell. It gets annoying after a while.
Also very true. Especially all the main characters.

Hm I should mention this thread will contain spoilers, so if you plan on reading, I wouldn't read anything further. It might ruin somethings for you. My next part contains a few.

Haha, I was actually referring to his inablity to accept his female soldiers as soldiers, and that measure of stupidity involved getting some of his friends killed, including Moraine. If she even is dead, she bowed out in an ambigious way, though she was clutching one of the Forsaken.
The three women thing never interested me, but to each their own, eh?
As a general response to the sexism -
Now obvious it shows that sexism is ingrained in culture, that's pretty much common knowledge.
What makes me think its a satire is when one of the characters will complain about the opposite sex, and then do the exact same thing the opposite-sex character did and try to justify it. Like I think Egwene was complaining about Matt looking at women, then she's ogling Galad, stuff like that.
What makes me think it might be sexist, is that while women were at first said to be stronger in the power than males, it turns out they are weaker. Nynaeve mentions that "women are weaker in muscle and in the power? How fair is that?" or something akin to that. Also, the fact that the powers of saidin and saidar are split between the sexes, and the way the different powers are controlled and embraced. Women have to surrender to saidar, men have to overpower saidin.
