I head down every year for at least a day, and I was coming to it before I lived in San Diego too (infact Comic Con is what made me want to move here in the first place, way before Sigil was even ever around)

This will be my first time there... unfortunately they do not allow gnomes there unless they are on a leash....

Guess who drew the short straw!

Morgan's Tale is the work of our resident gnome, Glip. It is remarkable the kind of stuff you can get from a gnome through the application of high voltage electrical current.

For more info on who does what you can check out our credits page.

0 E3 Movie should be out soon O F F I C I A L    V A N G U A R D    F O R U M S
May 25, 2004 - 07:45 PM - by Therkain
While the movie was being made I also thought the music was a little... over the top for this type of game. When I mentioned this I was greeted with the question "Have you ever been to E3?". I had not and this movie was being specifically developed with E3 in mind.

Having now partaken of the E3 fruit, I must say that I understand why this music was used. E3 is the D-Day of sensory assault!! The noise, lights, and scantily clad (and very healthy) women attack you from all angles. This music was selected to capture the attention of the passers-by. The sad thing is at E3 the movie was played on a grid of plasma screens with no audio!!

I hope that helps everyone to understand why the music in this movie was chosen. It is also fun to watch the gnome dance and play his little air guitar while he watches the movie.

Actually it is a Bauhaus album. Looks like 1979 - 1983 Volume 2

Listening to that could be part of the cause for such a disturbing scene...

Interesting idea. There are definitely some pros and cons. At this point it is too early to say if it will be something we tackle, but we will definitely consider the option.

How’s that for a non-committal answer

I like the classic telnet type MUD's. Avatar is one I have played recently and is okay. It is a good one to start out on if you are new to MUD's.

What is really cool is logging in with a telnet client from my PocketPC from anywhere you can find an Access Point.
