0 Rollback Bug still here; Sigil you are losing customers V A N G U A R D    S E R V E R S

Hello, everyone. We managed to find and fix the bug internally. The fix will be patched out as soon as possible. Hopefully we won't experience any more of this post-patch :)

Thanks to everyone for posting and PMing me information about your experiences; it was very helpful in tracking down the error.

I have not experienced any kind of roll back myself... But I talked to a GM who actually told me that item loss, no matter what the cause, is not, ever, reimbursed. XP loss will not be investigated either, to see who qualifies for reimbursement?

I can understand that with the amount of coding a game generates it might be difficult to figure out which line is causing all this. And asking us to report bugs and help you guys fix your game is all good. But you could, at the very least, give players losing XP (up to two fucking levels apparently) the hope that they will get it back. That reimbursement is, in fact, a Sigil policy. That you are giving the whole bug fixing thing priority but that you are not giving up on individual problems.
I only commented on the coding side of things because I'm a programmer. I'm not familiar with our reimbursement policies. Please don't take it to mean I/Sigil only care about fixing the bug; it's just not my personal authority to do anything otherwise.

I assure you we're taking this problem very seriously. Lots of coder time is being spent looking into it as we speak. But I do not blame you at all for being pissed; I'm sure I'd react similarly under the same situation.

If you can think of any information that might help us pinpoint the problem, please post it. Such as the time you logged on, time logged off, your name/class/server, zones travelled within, whether you crashed at all during that time, etc. The faster we can get this fixed, the better.

Thanks, all.

Hey guys, I made an optimization to the guild manager that should hopefully vastly alleviate these issues. It should make it to you sometime in the next 2-3 patches.

Hey guys, just to let you know, this is a known issue that is being discussed internally. There's no need to /bug it :)

0 MS Vista + VG + TS? V A N G U A R D    S E R V E R S
Mar 01, 2007 - 04:52 PM - by Morb
We don't do anything special to capture keystokes. We just read what Windows gives us.

I just tested it and VG + TS works fine on Windows XP, so it's probably a permissions issue with Vista. Try running Teamspeak in Admin Mode.

0 Devs, please fix my Varathari....... V A N G U A R D    S E R V E R S

Could you list the names of those items? The shield attach point appears to be correct, at least with the most recent art, which has not yet been pushed to Live. So it may have already been fixed, or it may be specific to those particular items.
