Well, you'll find we agree with a lot of those things. They bug the heck out of us too.
I can't speak of the 3 or 4 years of development before my time here, except to point you to Brad's statements on the matter. We recognize we're behind the curve, and we're working, in my specific case, 7 days a week to make this game better.
Test Server is coming. There's a LOT that goes into that, and we're all working hard to make that happen. Bugs will thus decrease, content will feel more polished going in.
Writs, our 150 (lowered from 200) content is being worked on in the next couple weeks, game-wide. With it includes some of the first things you can spend Prestige on.
The Code issues you brought up (like Titles leaving you...) are all on a triage list for being worked on. Coding needs this as it is more difficult, in general, for a Coder to jump around from issue to issue than it is a Designer - it's the nature of the work. Also, some bugs are bugging us, some bugs are crashing us. Those must take priority.
I'm proud of the work we've done on Diplomacy so far. I'm very pleased to get concern and a desire to see this system blossom, which is the vibe I am getting from many of you folks out there too.
And, yes, I just went and double-checked the lists to make sure your issues are on them. They are.
