$300M for a MMO? Egads, where could it possibly all be spent? OK, so you hire a lot of developers to build content (just to have lots of it eventually). A core of programmers would be building the mechanism, but you cannot dump too much money into that. Are they researching and building a server farm with that money?

Just don't hold your breath. A budget like that implies one thing - a long time.

Hehe, I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a post-mortem or something before you get all of that juicy soap-opera drama that will give ya something to talk about for a week until somethin else comes up

Back on topic, I wonder how they'll handle classes/skills in it. An Oblivion/Morrowind-style system would be fairly intriguing.

I know its off topic and forgive me if its too personal to ask, especially coming from someone who is critical about the game, and most likely hasn't said the greatest things one could say about your involvement with VG, how are things for you post Vanguard?

And of course I wouldn't want you to burn any bridges, but can you offer us any insider insight about VG and the recent happenings surrounding it, or VG's past beyond what you have already posted in various places?

I'm doing well, thanks for asking I started at Rockstar the week after I left Vanguard and have been enjoying myself tremendously since then.

As for the insider insight, I'm gonna keep my yapper shut for the time being. I'd like to think that I still have a lot of friends that currently work on VG and I'd hate for my large mouth to endanger or make their jobs more difficult. Things like the F13 interviews add stress to our job (mind you, is the fault of the interviewees, not F13) so I'm tryin my best to avoid situations like that. On the other hand, SoE treated us like ass and fired 50+ of my friends so we'll see how long that I can hold out with that excuse

Regardless, I wish most of you SV folks the best and hope that y'all, if you're still playing VG, are still having fun

Would be cool if they could pull it off. Having a world w/ lore to build off of, yet still able to change whatever you like, is a good step. Hopefully the combat will be better than the previous two installments, hehe.

And 300 mil is rediculous, makes me wonder if it was quoted correctly.

Edit: prz remove my purple and that fugly tag!

Nah, you won't need a Galleon to access the dungeon.

Well your pretty Darn wrong. This was talked about in beta forums and it was supposed to be fixed I would link it but alas there is no more beta forum to link to.

Right, I believe at one point design was hoping to get a unique model and the skull was just a placeholder; that unique model obviously never got done so the skull remains. Previously, I mentioned to Avair that there exists a model with that same head on a skeleton but he said that the floating skull was going to remain, iirc.

Regardless, I'll ping Avair about it again on Monday (didn't see anything from the class guys in the archived beta forums but didn't look all that hard).

Oh please I don't have to just see these pictures to draw my conclusions I have seen this all throughout this game period. If you would like I could post you my own screen shots of missing graphics ect up to you? you make the call.

Point being, that isn't the case here; yes, the area is unfinished on Live/Test, which is why it is locked (Live is about 4-6 weeks behind us atm). And yea, if you run across something that looks like it has "missing graphics," feel free to let me know and I will investigate and fix it, if it needs to be fixed

I play a necro and on my "Lich form of bones" my Character is a floating head still after what 7 months now?

Am pretty darn sure that the class designers intended it to just be a floating head.

Those are placeholder models.

Don't let the fact that the APW is locked and people have to exploit to get in bother you when you're evaluating the content, though; it's locked for a reason.
