I didn't see anyone mentioning Vizzini's death in The Princess Bride, which has got to be one of the best death scenes in any movie.
"You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well-known is this: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Something I like to keep in mind is that money is much more replaceable than time.

Thus, I recommend gifts like a stay at a bed-and-breakfast or a nice dinner... something that encourages you to spend time together.

Of course, everyone likes spending time together opening presents, so for ideas on presents, glance over his shoulder while he's on the computer browsing Amazon or Ebay, and listen for any hints he might drop.

In my high school science class, my teacher asked, "What are the two forms of carbon?" He meant for the answers 'diamond' and 'graphite.'

One student answered, "diamond," and then my teacher called on me.

I said, "buckyballs."

The entire classroom erupted into laughter - none of the other students had heard of buckminsterfullerene, so they thought I was making a crude reference.

Then my teacher pointed out that there actually were three forms of carbon, and yes, one of them really was called 'buckyballs.'

The looks on their faces were priceless.

I'm playing Myst V End of Ages as I wait for Heroes of Might and Magic V to be released.

HoMM3 was fun, but I enjoyed playing with the map editor even more

Sushi is the food above all foods; it is ambrosia.

I prefer sashimi, and have been known to purchase half-pound fillets of sashimi-quality tuna and salmon and down them in a single sitting.

Probably not the healthiest thing to do. I may have mercury for blood at this point.


FYI -
Sashimi is raw fish, and not technically sushi.
Sushi refers to the rice that usually goes with the raw fish.
Sushi can also be vegetarian (such as a vegetable roll).
