It's pretty good... more like a brownie with a dash of cake thrown into it, though. Nothing like what it was supposed to be.
I iced it with coconut and pecan icing - the only kind we had that doesn't contain milk. It's OK.... considering I hate coconut.

Lol, well thats because the Vinegar and Baking soda act as a leavening agent, so you're making more of a chocolate biscuit than anything.
I also imagine since your a vegan milk and (maybe) eggs are out of the question, so without the Vanilla extract you lose alot of the richness/flavor that it would provide
Baking is a precise art that I'm not very good at, and unlike cooking on a stove top its extremely unforgiving >.<
