Diplomacy Classes |
|
Actually, there will be Diplomacy classes. Not ready to announce them yet I don't think, but they will probably allow you to specialize in terms of who you are best at influencing (say, the aristocracy vs. the thief's underworld, etc.) Source: Aradune Mithara

Diplomacy Class List |
|
Diplomatic classes have not been formally announced, but they are currently believed to include:
Thug
Bureaucrat
Charlatan
Priest/Clergy
Players choose their diplomacy class (along with their harvesting, adventuring and crafting classes) at the time of character creation. As with every sphere, there is no obligation to level diplomacy, and there will be some scope for choosing a different class during the lower levels of that sphere. Source: Silky Venom

Can I change my diplomacy class after I pick it? |
|
You pick your class for each sphere, including diplomacy, when you create your character (and then will have some chance of changing your mind at very low levels). Source: Aradune Mithara

How do diplomacy classes differ? |
|
Normally when you play an MMO, you pick your class as one of your initial choices in creating your character. We chose to instead give you the opportunity to play through diplomacy for quite a while (and you will be doing some of the "default activities" of the Diplomat for a while to really get used to them) so you can decide which sort of Diplomat you want to be. Each of the four classes is loosely based around each of the Expressions. The Demagogue is noted for the ability to Inspire, for instance, and the class ability for Demagogue reflects this.
